Wilbur sighed. "I told you Vicks killed himself, didn''t I? Do you believe me now?"
He got back into his van, driving across the border of Moda and Kosanto, finally returning to Diseya.
Back in his hotel room, Wilbur entered his demine. The encounter with Devon and the others on the way here had caused two and a half hours to tick by, and there was only half an hour left on the timer.
Seeing as there was still a bit of time, Wilbur put all the items he had gotten from the auction into the Dragon''s Altar one by one. His grace points increased as the pale mes shot up, and he got a total of four thousand grace points.
"Four thousand?"
Wilbur gasped. "That means I''m still a thousand grace points away. Does that mean I''m going to have to give up on the Dragon''s Breath?"
The thought disappointed Wilbur immensely, and he stumbled backward. He found himself tripping over a huge rock and turned to see thest ore he bid sitting there silently.
Wilbur lit up at once. "Oh man, I nearly forgot about you!"
He squatted down to heave the three-hundred-kilogram hunk of ore up, before putting it into the Dragon''s Altar. The pale mes shot up, and Wilbur prayed with all his might that he would get a thousand grace points out of it.
He looked up at the hourss when the mes disappeared: Neen thousand grace points.
Wilbur widened his eyes in shock and disbelief. It was important to note that all the items before had only gotten him a total of four thousand grace points, but this huge rock had gotten him five thousand in one go.
"How could this be?"
Wilbur was immensely shocked and thought back to what had happened during the auction. The host had introduced the rock as a huge ore from a rare metal mine in Moda.
It seemed like these rare metal mines did exist in Moda, and Wilbur found himself extremely interested in this rare metal mine all of a sudden. On second thought, there were just too many strange things in the world and there was really no need to be shocked by one mine.
The Dragon Cauldrons had already left Wilbur in enough shock, and that was where his main focusy.
Now that Wilbur had neen thousand grace points, the purchase button for the Dragon''s Breath lit up atst. Wilbur pressed it without a shred of hesitation, leaving him with four thousand grace points. He chose to spend all of it on Thunder-type Healing Pills, as they could restore and heal his body and powers in a short amount of time.
Wilbur came out of his demine and began to cultivate the Dragon''s Breath at once. It took him no time to realize that the Dragon''s Breath was a ssic internal spell that would allow the cultivator to sense their surroundings after channeling their mind and soul.
This made the Dragon''s Breath simr to the Iris Veritas, but their differences lie in the Iris Veritas'' limited uses. The Dragon''s Breath could be used infinitely, which made Wilbur feel rather relieved.
The Dragon''s Breath required internal control, which made it rather difficult to cultivate. Wilbur''s own powers would only get him a bit of improvement after cultivating for a whole month, but he now had one and a half of a Dragon Soul Essence, which gave him a hundred and fifty years'' worth of cultivation.
With the help of that, Wilbur was able to master the first level of the Dragon''s Breath in just a day. There were nine levels in total, and the first level allowed the cultivator to search the area within a meter-wide radius around them.
Thus, Wilbur could only continue to cultivate the skill further. Atst, he was able to reach the third level of the Dragon''s Breath. Now, Wilbur could search the area within a thirty-meter radius around him for formations.
Wilbur came to the square in the middle of Bangsai after that. He muttered a spell and activated Dragon''s Breath. It was not long before tworge formations appeared on the ground, one a pale blue color, and the other one golden.
