Wilbur frowned and asked, "What''s wrong? Could it be that you''re chickening out?"

    Mitch ced a hand around Wilbur''s shoulder and said, "I''m telling you that the forest is very dangerous. If we encounter a lot of bloodsucking bugs in Vicente Primeval Forest, it''ll be hard for us to continue onward. We will have to turn back. Do you understand?"

    Wilbur did some simple preparations, then he followed the exploration team led by Mitch into the forest. The first five hundred meters were fine as the threats in those areas were eliminated due to the constant visits from explorers.


    However, they were still in Vicente Primeval Forest, after all. The trees were farrger than the trees elsewhere. Actually, this is an old-growth forest that''s almost untouched by humans. Everything is the way it was. A lot of the ces in the outside world were moved or artificial. Therefore, they are way different from what was naturally there in the first ce. I felt the same when I first got here. Also, I spent quite a lot of time before I gradually epted the sights here. I think you need some time to adjust too. If you feel any difort, you can tell me immediately. We can head back with you. Your safety is our priority, after all."


    Wilbur thought it was ridiculous when he heard that. He had been to a lot of old- growth forests, after all. He was so used to it that he did not feel any difort.


    Wilbur also noticed their intentions. If he guessed correctly, Mitch and his team explored this forest before, but they were forced to head back for some reason.


    They were probably waiting for explorers by the road and trying to appear as though they were trying to explore the forest, then they would turn back after a short journey and hitch a ride back to the city.


    Mitch saw that Wilbur was alone, so he assumed Wilbur was an amateur explorer with no experience. Therefore, he wanted to trick him for a free ride back to the city area.

    Mitch nodded and added, "Actually, this isn''t the first time our team hase here to explore. We love exploring, and this is our twenty-third time exploring Vicente Primeval Forest. We are deeply in love with everything here in the forest. Perhaps you don''t understand, but we can feel that this forest is different from the outside world. The outside world is mostly man-made, and everything seems convenient, but people be numb after living in an extremely convenient environment for a long time."
