    Wilbur scrambled to put the cauldron piece away, rushing out to take a look. Punter was crawling along the hallway, covered in blood. His eyes lit up at the sight of Wilbur, before filling with terror the next second.


    At thest second, Wilbur whipped around, sticking his left arm out to block the attack from a ck sword. A man in a ck suit and a ck hat appeared in front of him.


    "Oh?"


    Wilbur recognized the man at once. He had appeared at the entrance of Tuttle Mine with Buck earlier. There was no doubt that he worked for Buck. Just like Wilbur had guessed, Buck, too, had a deeply entrenched disdain and discrimination toward Dashans.


    Wilbur, a Dashan, had passed Buck''s test and gotten a grade two rating, as well as made it out of Tuttle Mine with one hundred and ny-eight kilograms of copper ore. This was humiliating to Buck, and there was no way he was going to allow this to happen. Thus, Wilbur was not leaving Bruille Town alive.


    The assant''s expression darkened. "Earth-type defense spells? I have underestimated you. Even so, you aren''t getting out of here alive today."


    The man let out a cry and a powerful sword aura swung over, knocking Wilbur several meters backward. Wilbur summoned the thunder cleaver, saying, "Since Buck has sent you here to die, I''ll give you a hand on your way."


    The man in the suit smirked. "You''re just a mid-Sanctuary level cultivator. Do you think you''re going to be able to defeat me?"


    Wilbur stared at him coldly. "Why not? I could kill you with one blow if I wanted to."


    Just then, the spiritual auraing off Wilbur increased at an explosive rate. The man sensed this and stared at him in shock. "What? Y-You''re ate-stage Sanctuary level cultivator? Oh my, I''m terrified! Hahahaha!"


    The man let out a loud roar, and his suit exploded into shreds immediately. The spiritual auraing off him was that of someone halfway through the pre- Emperor level.


    "You''re going to die, Wilbur Penn!"


    The man came charging towards Wilbur, who said, "So, that''s where you get your cockiness from."


    A powerful spiritual aura came surging out, and the shadow-like man reappeared


    to stare at Wilbur in actual shock this time. "W-What? You... you''re at the Emperor level?"


    The man knew then that he had severely underestimated Wilbur. This guy had been hiding his powers this whole time. An Emperor level elite who might be stronger than Buck had been hiding his powers during the test!


    "Just you wait, you crazy bastard!"


    The man trembled all over as he turned to run, but a ck sword aura hurtled through his body, sttering blood across the wall as his torso was cut in half and fell onto the floor.


    Punter gulped. He could not believe that a pre-Emperor level elite had been killed off by Wilbur just like that. Elites like that were supposed to be treated like royalty no matter where they went.


    Yet Wilbur had killed him off with just one move, and Wilbur himself was of Emperor level as well.
