"He''s right here."
Punter pointed at Wilbur, introducing him to Wynn.
"Him? How could it be?"
Wynn stared hard at Wilbur. Wilbur had muscles, but the muscles of a cultivator were far from those of a bodybuilder who worked out most of the time. Although Wilbur''s build was lean, he was definitely strong.
However, in Wynn''s perspective, Wilbur looked nothing but scrawny and weak. The thought of him beating almost a hundred of Bruille Town''s strongest men was nearly impossible in Wynn''s head.
"Don''t joke with me, Mister Punter. I came all this way because you promised ten thousand dors. Don''t pull a prank on me like this."
Punter frowned at Wynn, confused. "Who said I was pranking you? I''m serious, Wynn. He''s your opponent."
Punter took out a stack of bills, tossing them at Wynn. "Take this, Wynn. You know I''m a man of my word, and I''m telling you now that if you can beat him, this money''s all yours."
"Thank you, Mister Punter."
Wynn put the money away, and a smile appeared on his face. "Hey, little guy. You up for the challenge?"
"Why wouldn''t I be?" Wilbur replied calmly. "There''s a table right here. Let''s do this. My only request is that you don''t throw a tantrum if you lose and ept the oue of this challenge."
"Sure. All I ask for is that you crawl between my legs if you lose."
"Sure, I''m fine with that."
Wilbur and Wynn walked up to the stone table. They sat down, gripping each other''s palms.
Wynn said, "Count us down, Mister Punter."
Punter smiled. "Alright. On the count of three, you may begin. One, two, three, begin!"
Just as Punter''s voice rang through the air, Wilbur could feel a powerful forceing from Wynn''s palm. Wilbur did what he had done before, letting up for a half second, during which his arm was pushed down two-thirds of the way.
The sight made everyone let out screams of glee and shock. After all, that showed that Wynn was pretty much destined to defeat Wilbur.
Punter walked up to Wilbur beaming at him. "I''d just give it up if I were you, Wilbur. It''s impressive enough that you were able to beat a hundred of our strongest men, you know? You''ve already done enough to redeem some reputation of your people. Oh, and don''t you worry, I''ll be sure to treat the Dashans thane to Bruille Town somewhat better in the future."
Wilbur gritted his teeth. "And what if I win all of you, then?"
"You!"
Punter watched with bated breath as Wilbur slowly pushed Wynn''s arm back down bit by bit.
