"Hang on!"
Wilbur was about to leave when a deep voice rang from inside. He turned to see a huge, overweight man walking out of a room with a mocking air in his eyes as if he hardly thought anything of Wilbur. "So, you''re the Dashan worker trying to get a first-tier room here?"
"Yes, I am. What does that have to do with you, though?"
Just then, the receptionist bowed to the fat man respectfully. "Hello, boss."
The fat man pointed at the receptionist smugly. "Did you hear that? I''m the owner of this hotel. Now, let me ask you this again: Do you want a first-tier room here?"
Wilbur''s expression turned cold as he sensed the fat man''s mocking tone. "I''m not interested in repeating myself."
"Wow, a man of courage. Fine, I''ll give you a chance."
The fat man put his right elbow down on the counter. "Let''s have an arm wrestling match. I''ll let her give you a first-tier room if you beat me."
Rage was bubbling in Wilbur''s chest. "I hope you keep your promise."
"Don''t worry, I''m a man of my word. But if you lose, you''ll have to crawl out of this hotel under my crotch. How''s that?"
"Sure. Challenge epted."
For himself, and also the people of Dasha, Wilbur shook the fat man''s hand as he smirked at Wilbur. "Alright. I''ll count to three, and we''ll start."
"One, two, three!"
After counting down, the man pushed hard on his right hand, but his eyes were on the receptionist as her cheeks reddened and she looked away.
Indeed, the fat man had only challenged Wilbur so that he could show off in front of the receptionist.
Yet to his shock, Wilbur was far from weak. Wilbur did not push back at once, letting the fat man push his hand over for half a second before shoving back with a sharp burst of force. Wilbur''s arm rose rapidly, pressing the fat man''s hand onto the marble countertop within a matter of seconds.
"I win. Get me a first-tier room."
The fat man''s chest heaved as he stared at Wilbur. Wilbur had won too quickly, and the fat man did not even have the time to react.
Just then, the receptionist asked, "What now, Boss?"
"What now?"
Wilbur turned to the fat man. "Are you nning to go back on your word?"
The fat man mmed a fist onto the counter. "Shut up and get him a first-tier room."
"Yes, boss."
The receptionist quickly checked Wilbur into a suite, passing him the key card. Wilbur turned and headed upstairs, and the fat man''s voice could be heard as he made his way up.
"You think you''re tough, don''t you? Just you wait! I''m going to get a few guys here. Let''s see if you''re really tougher than us!"
The fat man stomped out of the hotel, and the receptionist rushed after Wilbur. "You should leave, sir. If my bosses back with his men and you''re still here, you''re going to get severely beaten up. Thest time this happened, a man from Cherrytopia was beaten to death by them."
"Really now?"
