Wilbur did not want the Dark Lord to destroy this dimension just to return to his middle dimension. Thus, Wilbur would not hesitate to battle against the Dark Lord if it really came down to that. He was going to protect this world even if it meant sacrificing himself.
He was so close to collecting all nine dragon cauldrons, and Wilbur was
practically dying to know the secret of the dragon n and get the support of the upper dimensions.
Just then, Perry spoke through the phone, "You might have found eight of the cauldrons, Wilbur, but you''re only halfway there. Back when the Nine Dragon Cauldron was first made, Senior Fremont did not want it to be easily found. So, he broke the cauldron into nine pieces, hiding them in different ces until the chosen one went to look for them."
"What?"
Wilbur was shocked. "The ninth dragon cauldron is broken, and into nine pieces too?"
"Yes, but don''t you panic. Senior Fremont made the ninth dragon cauldron, and he can destroy them just as easily. He''s imprinted his spirit onto all nine of the broken pieces, and they all contain real dragon aura. If you manage to find any of the pieces, you''ll be able to form a connection with it. Once you''ve collected all nine pieces, you can use your dragon aura to conjure the ninth dragon cauldron, and Senior Fremont will show up to guide you."
"But..."
Wilbur gritted his teeth. Perry''s words were clear enough, but Wilbur found it hard to ept the fact that the ninth dragon cauldron had been broken into nine pieces. After all, Wilbur had worked hard to collect eight of the cauldrons, and he thought there was only one to go.
To his shock and dismay, Senior Fremont had broken the ninth dragon cauldron into nine separate pieces.
Perry could tell that Wilbur was not taking the news well and said, "Master said that he would never do something without purpose. The breaking of the ninth dragon cauldron into separate pieces is a test to you, Wilbur. You can give up if you don''t want to carry on."
"No," Wilbur said at once. "I''ve made it this far, haven''t I? I''m going to find that cauldron, Perry. Do you know where those cauldron pieces could be?"
Perry said, "I''m not too sure about that, but Master said that you just had to find one of the pieces and you''d be able to find the rest of them. It''s not going to be easy, though."
"Alright, I understand. Thank you."
Wilbur hung up the call and punched the cushion next to him. He had been on the brink of death several times to find these bloody cauldrons, only for there to be nine separate pieces he had to find to get thest cauldron.
To make matters worse, Wilbur did not have the slightest clue about where those pieces were. How was he supposed to look for them? He felt like he had been conned.
Yet on second thought, Senior Fremont had known centuries ago that Wilbur would head to the merfolk realm in search of the eighth dragon cauldron.
That must mean that he had his reasons for breaking thest cauldron up into nine pieces and scattering them around the world. Wilbur remembered Perry''s words from just now. Senior Fremont would never do anything without purpose. If that was the case, breaking the Nine Dragon Cauldron into nine pieces would just be one of his tests.
What on earth could the meaning of a test like that be, though?
Was Senior Fremont trying to get Wilbur to learn something out of this?
