Wilbur walked into the path on the left. It was very narrow at first before suddenly widening up into a gigantic stone room. Hovering near the ceiling of the room was a band of pale green light, and on the ground were several huge round shadows.


    The round shadows swam around the ground, colliding against each other. Some of the shadows even climbed up to the walls. The stone room was the end of the path, and there was nothing else but the shadows.


    "What now, senior?"


    "My apologies, I think I''ve forgotten the right path."


    ''Bastard!'' Wilbur muttered a curse and was about to leave. All of a sudden, an enormous shadow blob swam up to Wilbur. It reached out with its ckened hands, grabbing Wilbur firmly by the feet.


    The shadow ced itself right below Wilbur, and an enormous sucking force dragged Wilbur downward at once. The lower half of Wilbur''s body was swallowed immediately, leaving his torso above the ground.


    The shadow seemed akin to a swamp, and Wilbur could not free himself no matter how hard he struggled. Just then, figures of Shadow Men appeared one after another from the depths of the murky shadow on the floor. Some of them were holding des, some holding spears and swords.


    The Shadow Men surrounded Wilbur before beginning to make their way closer to Wilbur whileunching their attack. Wilbur borrowed the power of light and emitted a blinding white glow. The shadow men were struck by the light, melting into the murky shadow swamp.


    Wilbur took the opportunity to leap out of the swamp. By the time he looked over again, several shadow swamps had merged with each other and melded into one. The shadow swamp turned gray, and multiple gray Shadow Men jumped out.


    The gray Shadow Men surrounded Wilbur once more. This time, Wilbur could sense a special aura from the shadows. Despite the fact that it was not spiritual aura, Wilbur could tell that it was extremely powerful.


    Just then, a gray Shadow Man reached out to Wilbur with its right hand. Its arm stretched several meters to grab Wilbur by the shoulder. Wilbur glowered at the Shadow Man, unable to believe this immense power.


    Wilbur summoned the thunder cleaver and was about to slice the gray Shadow Man''s arm off. The cleaver did indeed cut the gray Shadow Man''s arm off, but the arm seemed to meld right back onto the shadow''s shoulder the very next second.


    Wilbur''s attack had enraged the gray Shadow Man, and it grabbed Wilbur''s neck before raising him into the air. He struggled with all his might, but the Shadow Man''s hand was tightly mped around his neck as if intent on strangling Wilbur to death.


    Just then, the dragon''s head on Wilbur''s back lit up once more. A powerful dragon aura took shape, letting out a howl of fury before snapping the gray Shadow Man''s arm in half. The part of the Shadow Man that the dragon''s tail struck turned into a fuzzy light that floated upward toward the band of green light.


    The gray Shadow Man stumbled backward as if sensing danger. The rest of the Shadow Men seemed shocked as well. Following that, several shadows gathered together. They joined hands, muttering strange chants as a silver pearl appeared on each of their chests.
