Chapter 2001

"They don''t even know the existence of the dimensionalws of the middle and upper dimensions. Furthermore, what''s terrifying is that this force is even more powerful than the power of the universe''sws. And you''re still saying that whoever possesses this power isn''t the chosen one?"

Wilbur took a deep breath. "That''s true, but a cultivator can reach Sanctuary level through cultivation and practice, then open up a portal to another dimension to borrow its dimensionalws."

"No. There is a limit to a cultivator''s capabilities, and they cannot outsmart the dimensionalws of the dimension they are in. That''s what sets them apart from the chosen ones."

Tracy kept looking at Wilbur as he spoke, which made Wilbur feel pressured as if Tracy was not fighting alongside him, but against him instead.

Tracy smiled all of a sudden then. "Don''t get me wrong, Mister Penn. There are loads of people who know how to control the power of light and the power of destruction. I wasn''t specifically referring to you when I mentioned the chosen ones. I was actually talking about the Light Warrior''s pupil. It''s true that a cultivator can only open a portal to a dimension that the extent of his capabilities can handle, but the Light Warrior''s pupil opened a portal to apletely different dimension. It''s possible that he might have learned the dimensionalws of a higher middle dimension under the guidance of the Light Warrior."

"You''re not wrong, but he unfortunately did not return to the dimension that the Light Warrior came from. However, this also tells us that there might be enemies from the middle dimension here in Wearson Valley."

"Mister Penn, please try your best from here on out."

"Got it. Don''t worry, Mister Tracy. I''ll find your brother while I''m here."

Tracy looked nothing but worried. "I hope my brother''s still alive.''

The two of them continued making their way further into Wearson Alley. Wilbur released his dragon aura to scope out what was going on within a ten-meter radius around him. The area seemed very peaceful, and Wilbur could clearly sense many living beings crawling around in the fog.

A thought struck Wilbur then. At the same time, these creatures seemed to have sensed Wilbur and Tracy too, charging toward the two of them at top speed.

"Hurry up. Back up and activate your shield!"

Wilbur retreated with Tracy, the two of them activating their shields as they saw countless gigantic ck spiders crawling their way at top speed.

The ck spiders in front noticed Wilbur and began spitting out white webs as if trying to bind the two together. The strands of webs struck the shields and fell to the ground, which seemed to decay and hiss with smoke upon contact with the webs as if they were made of acid.

Wilbur gripped the historical halberd, charging into the crowd of ck spiders. Just then, the ck spiders outside began quickly crawling over. It was not long before the spiders hadpletely surrounded the two men. Wilbur waved the halberd and a powerful wave of thunderous spiritual energy shed, sending the dozen or so spiders in front flying.

The ck spiders exploded into pieces mid-air,nding on the ground before they were quickly absorbed by the other spiders. They seemed oblivious to the fact that they had just lost their friends, merely treating the dead spiders as sustenance to feed on.

Tracy muttered a string of chants. "Oh, mighty Lord of the Holy Illuminati, please grant me the strength of the holy light!"

Just as the words rang through the air, a ray of holy light shot down from the heavens. It enveloped Tracypletely as he continued muttering chants. Multiple pirs of light appeared from the heavens and struck the surrounding spiders as they exploded and fell to the ground in pieces.
