"I''ll bid three hundred and fifty thousand dors!"
"Three hundred and eighty thousand dors!"
"I''ll bid five hundred thousand dors!"
Everyone went silent after a middle-aged man offered the five hundred thousand dor bid. No one thought the bronze cauldron was worth more than that, after all. The bronze cauldron was the size of a teapot. It would not be so valuable even if it was a royal item.
"Five hundred thousand dors going once!"
"Five hundred thousand dors going twice!"
Wilbur raised the sign on his hand at that moment and said, "One million dors!"
"One million dors! This gentleman calls for one million dors. Are there any higher bids than one million dors?"
"What a miracle!"
"One million dors going once!"
"One million dors going twice!"
"One million dors sold!"
The host sealed the deal with the gavel. The bronze cauldron belonged to Wilbur in the end with one million dors. Wilbur was hesitant at first, but when the bronze cauldron appeared on the stage, he immediately sensed it.
It undoubtedly proved that the bronze cauldron was the same as the one Tina gave him. It also carried a strange energy, and it could also store dragon aura.
Everyone turned to look at Wilbur. He bought a bronze cauldron that could never be worth one million dors, after all. His erratic behavior caught everyone''s attention.
Everyone knew Wilbur had to be an entrepreneur if he was not a fool. The bronze cauldron might be worth more if he had it, or perhaps he had sentimental feelings towards the bronze cauldron for him to bid such a high price.
Everyone looked at Wilbur out of curiosity. It was not wrong of them to do that, so Wilbur ignored their curious stares. Wilbur suddenly sensed the raging energying from Faron when Gaben and that young man turned around. He quickly patted Faron''s hand, which made Faron rx.
Gaben and the young man looked away and whispered something. Then, Gaben got up and left. The painting he brought we sold, so he was pleased. He did not need to participate in the rest of the auction.
"Ugh."
Faron scoffed coldly and said, "It looks like that guy noticed me. Since Gaben left, and he stayed, that proves he wants to challenge me after the auction is over."
Wilbur asked, "What? Are you afraid?"
"I''m not."
"Why do you mind since you''re not afraid?"
Faron smiled slightly. He did not care about the young man. The auction soon finished as time went on. Finally, the auction was over. Everyone stood and left. Wilbur realized that the young man was gone after he looked up.
"He''s gone," reminded Wilbur.
"He''s not. He must be waiting outside for us."
As Faron expected, they saw the guy waiting at the roadside after they left the bar. The guy had a t cap on while chewing gum. He whistled at Faron when he saw him and asked, "How about it, friend? Are we racing or not?"
