"Take your time paying me back, Tina. There''s no rush at all."
"No worries, Miss Kyra. I''ll spend the rest of my life paying this debt off."
Tina had spent two million dors on a gift that she was told was a mysterious antique from Dasha. Since she could not make Wilbur stay, she would at least show him how she felt.
Two million dors was the limit of what Tina could afford, but she hardly cared. Tina drove all the way home, spending the rest of the afternoon sitting in her room in a daze thinking of Wilbur.
It was only in the evening that she finally mustered up the courage to go to the attic. On the desky a pair of y dolls, a bank card, and a letter.
Over on another end, the nended in Seechertown in the evening. Wilbur came out of the airport, ncing at his watch as he walked. He had already called Faye and Ryder beforeing back and figured they should be there.
Wilbur had called Faye first and only called Ryder to give him some information to send back to the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense.
Despite the fact that he had promised Paul not to spread the news about Light Valley, there had to be a cover-up for the internal war happening in Cametra, and that was an update on the situation with the two factions.
Wilbur knew that Light Valley was going to use the two factions if they wanted to do anything. Wilbur did not have to care about Cametra''s internal affairs, so he could skip bringing up Light Valley. However, he would at least have to tell the department about the conflict between the two factions.
After all, Greensource Corp''s past proved that the two factions had some pretty special views of the country''s development. If Cametra was a tree, the two factions would be its roots. Only by letting the tree continue to grow in its natural habitat would the innocent people and the other countries be safe.
Wilbur got out of the airport but only saw Ryder and not Faye. Ryder waved a hand, shouting, "Deacon Penn! I''m over here!"
Wilbur asked, "Why are you here alone? Where''s Faye?"
"Oh..." Ryder chuckled awkwardly, then said, "Deacon Penn, Madam Yves heard that you were flirting with Cametran women and got angry. I called her up, and she said that she wouldn''t being since I was already here. Otherwise... someone might think she actually missed him."
Wilbur smiled. "Women do love getting jealous, don''t they? Come on, I''m tired. Let''s head back first."
Wilbur locked himself in his room upon returning to Seke Ind, taking out the present Tina had given him. There was a copper cauldron the size of a teapot inside, with three dragons carved on it. The craftsmanship was beautiful, and Wilbur was shocked to discover that there was a special aura radiating out of the cauldron.
Wilbur could tell from the first nce that this was something Tina had spent a good amount of money on, knowing that he liked collecting antiques. It was probably not too expensive considering Tina''s capabilities, and Wilbur figured that the two hundred million dors in the card he had given her would be enough for her to livefortably with her mother.
The cauldron was not radiating with spiritual energy, but something else that Wilbur felt a strange familiarity with. It felt as though he was seeing an old friend again, and Wilbur could feel the dragon aura growing excited.
The antique seemed to be rted to the dragon n in some way. Had it once been used by someone great before? Wilbur had been wanting to collect more items rted to the dragon n, and this came by just in time.
Due to the fact that this was a gift from Tina, Wilbur did not convert it into grace points. He put the copper cauldron away when a knock sounded on his door.
"Who is it?" asked Wilbur.
"It''s me, Deacon Penn," said Ryder.
Wilbur opened the door to find Faye standing there in a tight Dashan dress with her arms crossed before her chest. She strode in with an uncaring look on her face. "I didn''t think you''d remember toe back."
