Wilbur nodded, ncing at Ralph''s corpse and not feeling surprised in the slightest. His phone rang then. It was a call from Paul.


    "Mister Paul."


    "Good job, Wilbur. Congrattions onpleting your mission. Now, please leave with Demetra as soon as possible. There''s going to be a massive change within Greensource Corp tonight, and a storming for Cametra in a matter of days. You can take the time to talk about living in Dasha with Tina."


    The call ended, and Wilbur left with Demetra. It waste at night by the time they returned home, and Wilbur restored his health on his bed. Tina did not send breakfast to him the next morning, so Wilbur skipped it altogether and focused on channeling his spiritual energy.


    That afternoon, Kyra called Wilbur out for lunch. Wilbur saw Tina with reddened eyes at the table as she kept her head bowed and was just about able to guess what had happened. He kept to himself, digging into the food silently.


    It rained heavily that night, and Wilbur watched the news in Demetra''s room. Greensource Corp was under investigation, and the police had apprehended the respective parties. Thepany had also announced that they would be electing a new chairperson.


    The chairman took the podium and dered at once that they were going to work on changing many of the production issues with thepany. The news reporter said that this would cause the medicine in Cametra to rise in price, which would undoubtedly be a bit of a blow to the national economy.


    Just then, a knock sounded on the door.


    "Come in," said Demetra.


    Tina pushed the door open. "Demetra, could you..."


    "Yeah, got it. You two stay here, I''ll head out for some air."


    Demetra left the room, and Tina looked at Wilbur. Wilbur looked back at her, neither of them speaking. The rainshed against the window relentlessly, and it was as if the world had stopped turning.


    "There''s finally been an answer to the situation with Greensource Corp."


    "I''ll help you look into what happened back then. Your father, he''s..."


    "I know it''s impossible. The incident happened in the past, and there''s already been an end to it, no?" Tina looked at Wilbur, who could not say a word.


    The truth was that Wilbur had gotten information from Paul that Tina''s father had been taken out by Greensource Corp a long time ago due to insubordination. Despite that being a cruel answer, it still provided closure.


    Some things deserved closure eventually. That was the only way Tina was going to grow up and be able to hold her own. Wilbur did not want her to end up like Annie, ending her life out of heartbreak. After all, it took facing something head-on to heal from it.


    Tina turned away from Wilbur. "You''ll be leaving after this ends, right?"


    "Yes."


    Wilbur nodded. "I''vepleted my mission here, and it''s time for me to leave once this is over."


    Tina said, "Miss Kyra told me a story. Can I tell you about it?"


    "Of course."


    "Barney was deeply in love with a woman named Annie, and she loved him too. One day Annie was assaulted by Ralph, and she hung herself. Barney proceeded to fool around with countless women in the years toe. Ten yearster, he sought out an answer to Annie''s suicide from Ralph but was told a lie that made him shoot himself.     Wilbur took a deep breath. He knew for sure that Tina was an innocent girl when it came to rtionships, or she would have never asked what she did just now. Kyra was probably responsible for that. Either way, Tina had made up her mind.
