Wilbur sneered coldly. "But you''re an assassin, and every battle you partake in puts your life at risk. Your life would end the day you run into someone more powerful than you. Are you willing to risk all of that for power and fame?"


    Damon''s expression darkened. "I''m not going to lose, and I''m sure as hell not going to die either. You won''t win over me forever, Wilbur Penn."


    "Is that so? Let''s give it a try, then."


    Damon radiated a powerful spirit aura as ck miasma filled the air, morphing into a set of armor. "Ha! Talking to you is such a waste of time. All I need to do is kill you, and everything involving you will end."


    The next second, Damon became disappeared from view as he cast an invisibility spell. Wilbur activated his Iris Veritas as well, which rendered Damon''s spell useless.


    Under the effects of the Iris Veritas, Wilbur could see the nine me crystal cores in Damon''s bodyid in a unique round formation that was steadily sending spiritual energy and the power of destruction to him.


    Damon gripped his right fist, and a long sword forged out of the power of destruction appeared in his grasp. He smirked, walking towards Wilbur.


    Around three meters before he reached Wilbur, Damon swung the sword around harshly in one swift move. Wilbur scrambled to duck, before charging forward and aiming a punch at Damon''s belly.


    There was a loud collision.


    "Argh!" Damon was sent flying by the tremendous force. Wilbur''s Iris Veritas worn off by then, and Damon disappeared from Wilbur''s sight as well.


    However, right then, the power of the light in Wilbur''s body was already traveling through his entire body as he radiated a silvery glow in the night.


    The next second, a light formed around Wilbur''s body before spreading out and lighting up the entire balcony.


    Wilbur was able to sense Damon''s location the next second, darting to the side and avoiding an attack from him.


    "F*ck you!"


    The ground cracked by the time Wilbur had ducked behind Damon,nding another punch on his back. The immense power of destruction crushed the me crystal core inside of Damon at once.


    Wilbur threw two punches, crushing two of Damon''s me crystal cores in a row.


    "What? How could this be?!"


    Damon whipped his head around to look at Wilbur, unable to believe that Wilbur had just destroyed two of his me crystal cores. Damon''s invisibility spell required five me crystal cores to maintain, and now he only had seven left.


    The next second, Wilbur summoned his thunder cleaver and pounced once more. With only three meters between both men, Wilbur leaped into the air and swung the cleaver downward.
