Wilbur said, "Alright, I''ll tell you that Light Valley''s a group formed by the internal higher-ups of Greensource Corp. However, there''s been some conflict between Light Valley and the Green Leaf Faction as well as the Scarlet Faction. Light Valley''s trying to control both factions."


    "What?" Demetra looked shocked.


    "Why would Light Valley be rted to this?" asked Kyra.


    "Have you forgotten, Kyra? When Mister Paul and I battled against Damon in that valley, Damon ended up getting rescued by some guy in ck robes. That guy was really powerful, and I''m pretty sure that he''s a member of Light Valley. He''s the Dark Messenger whom Damon''s been talking about."


    Kyra lowered her head in silence, before saying, "If that''s the case, this just got a whole lot moreplicated."


    "That''s right. It''s not going to be solved just like that, and if we go and deal with it, it might be the key to the conflict between the three major forces I just mentioned. There can only be two possibilities. The first one is that Damon and Barney will be taken out by the two factions, and Light Valley won''t need them anymore. The second one is that Damon and Barney are both actually Light Valley members, and the two factions will join forces to push us to Light Valley by borrowing outside forces to create a misunderstanding," Wilbur exined.


    David said, "Those bastards! If that''s the case, Ralph would be using us regardless of the reason. If he wins, the Scarlet Leaf Faction gets Greensource Corp. If he loses, Light Valley can get rid of us on behalf of the two factions. There''s only going to be more and more trouble toe after this, and Light Valley''s going to send people out to handle it eventually. Ugh, I knew that Ralph guy was never any good. I guess I was right all along."


    David seemed extremely disappointed in Ralph, and Demetra said nothing as he kept his head bowed. Tina nced at Kyra, and so did Wilbur.


    Kyra''s head was bowed as her face burned scarlet and she whispered, "Things might not be the way we think they are... The rtionship between the two factions is veryplicated."


    Wilburforted her. "It''s alright, Kyra. Don''t be too upset; you''re a victim too. Just like you said, the rtionship between the two factions is veryplicated. Your position in the Scarlet Leaf Faction is hardly important at all. You''re the same as Demetra, and you won''t be able to snoop about the higher-ups'' ns."


    "I''m sorry," said Kyra.


    Just then, Kyra''s phone rang with a call from Paul. Kyra put the call on loudspeaker. She saw Tina as a sister, and Wilbur as someone who had saved her life. There was nothing for her to hide.


    Paul''s deep voice rang from the phone. "Kyra, Mister Ralph''s acting a little weird. He didn''t use to be like this... tell your friend not to take today''s meeting to heart, alright? Just wait for my news."


    "Mister Paul, you..."


    Before Kyra could finish talking, Paul had hung up the phone.


    Just then, David said, "I guess this Paul guy has a heart after all."


    Kyra heaved a sigh of relief. "Mister Paul''s always treated me well, and I''m sure he wouldn''t lie to me. The truth is that there are lots of internal sections inside of the Scarlet Leaf Faction, and no one actually knows what Mister Paul''s actual position is, but he''s told me before that there are people above him. I think this time, Mister Paul''s going to report the matter to his actual superior."


    At the same time, the photocopy machines were whirring away over in the


    Greensource Corp offices. Following that, sheets of photocopied files were printed out and put on the table. Damon picked them up, stapling them together and passing them to Barney.
