"Let me tell you. There are nine floors of underground basements. Other than the parking lot on B1, the other eight floors below hold various types of creatures for experiments.
"Tina is on B9. If you''re willing to join Greensource Corp, I''ll get Damon to take you down the elevator to get Tina up. It will take less than five minutes. But, if you''re not willing to join the Greensource Corps, you''ll have to head down one floor after the other. As for what creatures you''ll meet and whether you''ll be able to see Tina or take her out alive, that''s up to you. Do you understand?"
Wilbur lowered his head and looked at the map. He pondered deeply.
Barney thought that Wilbur was hesitating, so he smiled and said, "You''ll receive so many things that an ordinary person will not be able to receive in their entire life by staying in Cametra."
Wilbur stood up and said, "Master Barney, I thank you for your advice, but I''m not the type of person who wants to rely on others, so I''m going to give it a try."
Then, Wilbur got up and left the office.
Outside, Damon raised his thumbs at Wilbur and said, "You''re amazing. No one has ever gone down alone. I wish you all the best."
"Thanks." Wilbur took the elevator down all the way to B1. The rest of the floors below could only be reached by the internal elevator which was not opened to the public.
The public only had ess to B1.
As for the other eight floors, one had to go past the entire floor to get to the stairwell that led downward. This was to say that one would run into all the experimental creatures on each floor, which made each floor a huge challenge.
Coming out of the elevator, Wilbur scanned his surroundings. He sensed the silence of this floor. Then, he lowered his head to look at the map in his hand. He noticed that the stairwell to the floor below was located on the northeast side.
Wilbur walked past the entire parking lot while observing his surroundings.
Even though the floor n of each floor below was different, the entire building structure was the same. Therefore, by understanding the building''s structure, Wilbur would be able to head down each floor quickly.
He reached the entrance to the second basement floor. This was an extremely hidden storage room.
He opened the door and pulled back the board blocking the door. What came to his sight was a metal door with a keypad.
He entered the pin based on the clues from the map.
The next second, the metal door clicked. Wilbur grabbed the handle and soon the door was opened.
Behind the metal door was a dimly lit staircase with water stains on each step. It looked wet and humid down there.
At this moment, Barney''s voice rang out from the speakers. "Wilbur, if you give up right now, I''ll give you another chance, but I''ll only leave my chances to smart people. You should realize what a good chance this is. If you head in right now, I will not give you another chance."
Wilbur looked at the map and ignored Barney, entering the stairwell.
"Great! Wilbur! Remember, this is the choice you made!"
Wilbur had only taken a few steps when a loud clunk rang from up above him. The metal door was shut once more.
He did not look back but continued heading down. Since he had already made up his mind, there was no going back.
There were two parts of stairs from B1 to B2. A total of 20 steps. Right when he was at the exit, Wilbur flipped his right hand and took out the Light Gloves.
At that point, Wilbur could already sense a huge current of spiritual energy. He held a thunder spear in his left hand and the thunder cleaver in his right as he entered the door to B2.
Scanning around, he saw huge metal cages under extremely dim lights. The foul stench of blood and rot was in the air.
Every cage had up to ten crawling creatures in it. Lizards, snakes, tigers, and even leopards.
When Wilburnded his eyes on a leopard, it suddenly went berserk and started crashing into the cage.
