Kyra found Wilbur and said, "I''m so sorry, Wilbur. I originally wanted to take you down, but I really am grateful for you saving me. From now on, I swear to you that as long as I live, Tina will never be in danger regardless of whether or not you''re in Cametra."
"Thank you," said Wilbur. "That''s the answer I wanted."
"Oh, right. Do you know about a group in Greensource Corp called Light Valley?"
"Light Valley?!"
Kyra looked shocked, but her expression quickly returned to normal. "I do know about them, but that''s top-secret information within the Scarlet Leaf Faction, so I can''t tell you."
Wilbur replied, "I know the rtionship between the two factions is extremelyplicated, and I know the Scarlet Leaf Faction has rules of its own. How about I ask you a few yes or no questions, and you just have to nod or shake your head in response? That doesn''t count as revealing any confidential information, right?" "Okay," Kyra nodded. Wilbur''s conditions were still pretty eptable, as it was true that she would not be breaking any faction rules. "Ask away."
Wilbur really wanted to know just what the Light Valley was, as Paul''s demeanor about them seemed pretty suspicious and confusing to him. If the conflict between the two factions could not be solved directly, there had to be a special reason for
it.
Could Light Valley be the reason?
"Is Light Valley an internal group of Greensource Corp?"
Kyra nodded.
"Does Greensource Corp control Light Valley?"
Kyra shook her head.
"Does Light Valley control Greensource Corp?"
Kyra shook her head once more.
"Light Valley and Greensource Corp are enemies, but they haven''tpletely burned bridges yet?"
This time, Kyra nodded.
Wilbur understood everything the second he saw Kyra nod. Light Valley and Greensource Corp were codependent, and it could be said that Greensource Corp had founded Light Valley, but they were no longer under the control of thepany, thus exining the rift between them.
Light Valley wanted to use Greensource Corp and Greensource Corp wanted to use Light Valley as well. That was why Greensource had crossed some boundaries with their actions, which also exined why Paul had said that Greensource Corp was an internal problem of Cametra''s.
What Wilbur found strange was that both factions were still connected to each other since they controlled all of Cametra together. Under these conditions, it would still be a matter of internal affairs even if Light Valley had been founded.
Something like that would not usually affect the rtionship between the two factions, but now they were on the verge of bing enemies because of Greensource Corp.
The thought made Wilbure up with a daring guess that Light Valley might be more powerful than the two factions, or there would not be so much ruckus about them.
Despite the fact that Wilbur did not know exactly what the problem was, he figured it might have something to do with the potion Greensource was researching. Maybe there had been a severe butting of heads among the internal staff over the research of some powerful potion...
Kyra stared at Wilbur. "If I remember correctly, tomorrow''s the day the Allied States are going to hold a meeting with their fellow countries. ording to what I know, the seven countries have secured proof of Greensource Corp developing illegal medicine. There might be a huge storming for Cametra tomorrow."
"Mister Penn, have you thought of when you''re going to leave Cametra? Are you going to bring Tina with you?"
Wilbur looked at Kyra. "I''ll respect Tina''s decision, but I hope you remember what you promised me if she chooses to stay in Cametra."
"Of course. Well, when are you leaving Cametra, then?" Kyra asked as tears welled up in her eyes. She had wanted to ask this question and was also asking on behalf of Tina.
"At least not until all of this blows over," said Wilbur. "I can''t leave all of you in such a dangerous state."
Kyra smiled, saying nothing.
