Kyra gazed at the sun with a smile. "Maybe I''ve been hiding behind a mask for too long, but I need friends. Do you understand the kind of deep-set loneliness in the furthest corner of your heart?"


    Wilbur looked at Kyra. Despite not knowing what Kyra''s goal was, Wilbur''s time in the Abyss Mercenaries had given him a rather pragmatic view of life.


    It was best not to trust anyone too much, regardless of what you were doing. Some people might have their loyalty bound to a different group, pouring their hearts out to you one second and trying to kill you the next.


    Kyra had not revealed her identity from the start, and thus Wilbur knew that he could not drop all his defenses around her. This friendship between the both of them was just a form of protection from each other.


    However, the price to pay for wanting to win the battle against Cametra and its two major factions would go beyond what Wilbur was willing to pay. Thus, Wilbur was willing to take the chance since Kyra had offered.


    "Alright."


    Wilbur said, "From this very second, you, Miss Kyra, will be a forever friend of mine, Wilbur Penn, but I have my own boundaries, and I''m sure you know what they are. I hope you sincerely want to be my friend, Miss Kyra."


    "Okay. I agree with that."


    Kyra nodded and took out a name card that she tossed to Wilbur. "Since we''re friends, there''s someone I hope you''ll help me get rid of."


    Wilbur caught the name card, ncing down at it. "Jeckle, senior consultant at Greensource Corp."


    That was one of the names from the list Tina''s father had left behind! Wilbur knew that Kyra would not just take care of Tina of her own will. But now that he had a working rtionship with Greensurce Corp, Wilbur was unsure what Kyra''s intentions were with getting him to take out Jeckle.


    "Miss Kyra, Jeckle''s a member of Greensource Corp. Are you sure you want me to do this?"


    Kyra said, "That''s right. He should''ve died five years ago, but someone''s been protecting him this whole time. That''s why he''s lived this long. However, the elites from the seven countriesing to Cametra for an investigation have angered the Scarlet Leaf Faction, so Jeckle must die. Of course, I can promise you on my end that Tina will never suffer any harm in Cametra."


    Wilbur took a deep breath. He knew that Tina would be able to live on safely under the supervision of the two factions, and this was a pretty tempting offer.


    "Alright, I''ll do it. Can you give me a little information on Jeckle, though? You know the kind of information I''m looking for."


    "Okay, listen up. Jeckle''s the only survivor out of five test subjects of the first batch of potions, and he''s the strongest member of Greensource Corp''s A-level assassins. Oh, and Jeckle has a good friend named Damon. This man is extremely powerful, and I hope you stay out of his way when you take Jeckle out, or there will be a lot of trouble."


    "Got it."


    Wilbur nodded. "Give me three days, and I''ll take care of him for you."


    "Okay. It''s settled, then."


    Wilbur took out his phone after Kyra left the balcony. "La, could you help me look up a B-level assassin named Att from Greensource Corp?"


    "Got it, sir. The information will be sent to your phone within the next minute."
