Chapter 1809

Wilbur rushed back to Aidementon, where Tina flew into Wilbur''s arms in a teary embrace before telling him everything that happened.

Wilbur nodded. "I see. It seems like the Jonans have not given up looking for those gloves yet. Get ready, there will be more elitesing."

The power of destruction and the power of light were two forces that were not known by many, and even most cultivators did not know about them.

The gloves forged out of meteorite contained the power of the light, and these people must know about it with how hard they were looking for the gloves. The Holy One was capable of controlling both the power of light and the power of destruction, which must have meant that he was a powerful opponent as well.

Half an hourter, a powerful wave of spiritual energy appeared. Wilbur stood on the balcony, watching the door. It was not long before a bald man in ck robes and fiery red eyebrows emerged, walking towards the balcony.

    "You must be Wilbur Penn."

Wilbur looked at the man behind the Holy One. "Walton Jonan, and you, the Holy One."

The Holy One said nothing, but Walton got a shock. "You know who I am?"

"My apologies. I saw your photo at Madam Marie''s house. I heard you''ve been trying to usurp the Walton family fortune, and even cursed Albus Jonan using evil sorcery! It''s a shame that isn''t going to happen, though."

"No, that''s impossible!" Walton widened his eyes in disbelief. "You shouldn''t have helped Albus, Wilbur. I told Greg to warn you to stay out of my family''s matters. Since you refused to listen, today''s going to be yourst day alive! Once you''re dead, I''m going to continue torturing Albus and his family until they all die painful deaths!"

"You? How are you going to do that? The Holy One?"

Walton turned to the Holy One at once. "O'' Mighty Holy One, that''s the man who took your holy weapon from you! All you have to do is kill him, and you''ll get it back!"

The Holy One did not show any emotion inparison to a feral Walton, instead shing a mocking smile. "I do not wish to make an enemy of you, Mister Wilbur Penn. I just want my holy weapon back. Whatever between you and the Jonan family is none of my business."

"You just need to give me the gloves, and I''ll leave immediately."

    "How could you, Holy One!"

"I''ve helped you out so many times, Mister Walton Jonan. Have you forgotten the state you used to be in? Aren''t you satisfied with what you have now?" "I..."

Walton hardly dared to say a word. He knew that everything he had now came from the Holy One, and he would be nowhere without him. But Walton''s greed had surpassed what he could afford, and he was hardly going to let go of the Jonan family fortune with it being just at bay.

"Don''t you forget the sacrifices we gave you, Holy One! I spent so much money and effort to get them for you, and I....."

Before Walton could finish his sentence, the Holy One had yanked him over. The Holy One sucked Walton into his body the very next second, causing the Holy One''s chest to rumble as a wave of energy swam about his body. Soon after, Walton''s skeleton was spat out, a pile of bones scattering across the ground.

A breeze blew over, and Wilbur smirked coldly. "Not bad. It looks like Walton Jonan''s no longer of any use to you, so you killed him."

"No one can threaten a cultivator. The guy was too noisy. Killing him off would get me some peace and quiet. We''re both cultivators here, Wilbur Penn. I''m going to give you a chance. Hand over the gloves, and I won''t kill you."

"And if I don''t want to do that?" said Wilbur coldly.

The Holy One''s gaze shed murderously, and spiritual energy burst out of his body. "If you insist on your ways, I promise you that you and everyone in this building will die because of your foolishness."
