All of a sudden, Wilbur saw a few faint shapes condensed of ck miasma. The shapes were in and thin, but they continued to make their way towards Wilbur. Just as they were about to reach him, however, they were absorbed by a sudden force. Wilbur looked down to see the leather gloves absorbing the ck miasma, unsure when they hadnded there.
The gloves were currently letting off a brilliant silver glow as if they had sensed a strong presence, continuing to absorb the ck miasma.
Atst, the miasma was transformed into a little ck ball in the palm of the gloves before it was absorbedpletely by the gloves too, disappearing out of sight.
The silver glow of the gloves began to fade after absorbing the ck miasma, eventually returning to their normal, worn form.
Wilbur stared at the gloves, wondering if they were actually capable of absorbing the power of destruction.
Were the power of the light and the power of destruction really two opposing forces?
The thought made a rush of glee spark in Wilbur''s chest, and he hurriedly picked up the gloves from the ground. All of a sudden, a wave of pain struck him in the chest as his chaotic aura began to swell in his body. Wilbur scrambled to take out a Thunder-type Healing Pill, swallowing it at once.
Upon returning to the attic, Wilbur sat down to get some rest as his mind raced with shbacks of the man''s attacks from earlier. Adding them to Mondorra, rk, and Demetra''s fighting styles, Wilbur came to a shocking realization.
The cultivators were all peak Sanctuary level elites, but the power of destruction in their bodies was of different levels, and each elite had a different degree of control of it.
Mondorra was pretty much incapable of controlling the power of destruction and had merely borrowed the spiritual energy in the me crystal core to forcefully activate the power of destruction.
rk was slightly more in control of the power of destruction, but he was mainly relying on the spiritual energy from the me crystal core as well.
Demetra was highly skilled in terms of controlling the spiritual energy from the me crystal core and understood the power of destruction pretty well too.
The man in the suit was also skilled at controlling the power of destruction, and the addition of his spiritual energy dagger practically made him half a level higher than the Emperor level.
The man in the suit was far more powerful than Demetra was, which meant that the rest of the assassins from Greensource Corp after this would be all the stronger. Wilbur urgently needed to improve his strength and powers.
It was evening by the time Wilbur had restored his physical condition. He entered his demine and contributed the dagger he had gotten from the man in the suit.
At the same time, a question appeared in Wilbur''s head. He might be able to get an answer through this contribution.
Sure enough, the dagger got Wilbur a total of sixteen hundred grace points.
Compared to the previous contributions, this was a shocking amount of grace points for just one item, and it also answered Wilbur''s question.
The power of destruction was immensely powerful by absorbing and repressing the opponent''s power, and thus extremely difficult to master. Trying to do that would be just like training every single day while wearing a set of armor that weighed two hundred kilograms.
The armor could give one a good amount of protection, but it would also greatly restrict one''s strength.
Mondorra was already a peak Sanctuary level elite and would have been able to activate an even stronger domain if he had not borrowed the power of destruction.
The man in the suit had not truly incorporated the power of destruction into his body as well, merely using the dagger to channel the power so that it would be less damaging to his own body when he activated it.
