Chapter 1758

Tina got closer to Wilbur as she spoke, pressing her lips to his in a deep kiss.

She moved so quickly that Wilbur could not duck, and they were already kissing by the time Wilbur came to his senses and it was toote to push her away.

Tina kissed Wilbur with a passion so fierce he found it hard to breathe. She finally let him go a full minuteter, looking into his eyes deeply. "I''m all yours now, Mister Penn."

"You can have me anytime you want, Mister Penn."

Wilbur nodded helplessly, before suddenly remembering Madam Marie. "Oh, right. Tina, did you keep Madam Marie''s number from earlier?"

Tina nodded. "You said that Madam Marie''s antiques were really important, so I kept her contact. Would you like me to call her now?"

"No." Wilbur shook his head. "Not for now. Just let me know first thing if she reaches out to us, that''s all."

Marie''s antiques were indeed important, but Wilbur was also worried about something else. That old man at the auction did not seem to know the powers the meteorite held, and any regr person would refuse to pay more than fifty million dors for it.

Yet that old man had offered seventy million dors, which meant that he had to have some kind of special rtionship with Marie''s side of the Jonan n.

As an ex-mercenary, Wilbur had a knack for reading people. Something about the glint in the old man''s eyes told Wilbur there was definitely something between him and the Jonan n.

Wilbur had not wanted to meddle in the Jonan n''s affairs. They were none of his business, and he did not want more on his te before he got to the bottom of Greensource Corp''s crimes.

Madam Marie''s personal collection was what Wilbur was after, but the old man and any possible elites he had on his team would be alerted for sure if Wilbur was

to reach out to Madam Marie himself. However, it would be a different case if Madam Marie reached out to Wilbur first.

Wilbur knew that a personal collection was hard to let go of, and getting his hands

on some of these prized items might be a little troublesome.

Despite knowing that some things were unavoidable, Wilbur would like the process to be as risk-free as possible.

After dinner, Tina left the attic. She returned not long after, with a look of shock on her face. "Mister Penn, the senior who offered seventy million dors for the meteorite at the auction is here."

"Oh? Is he looking for me?"

"Yes," Tina nodded. "His name is Greg Jonan, and he''s waiting for you on the balcony. He hopes to see you."

Wilbur nodded. He had hoped to be able to avoid this, but the guy hade knocking on his door and Wilbur was notpletely opposed to meeting with him.

Wilbur also had a few questions that he would like to get to the bottom of, in case there might be any future misunderstanding.

The balcony was a beautiful golden hue from thest of the sun when Wilbur arrived, and the old man stood with his back facing Wilbur as he murmured, "What a beautiful sunset. I can''t believe a ce with such peace and quiet exists in a city so busy."
