    Marie smiled, tearing up a little. "This money will keep my father going for a little more."


    Wilbur frowned. "What''s the matter with your father, Madam Marie?"


    Tina''s eyes reddened at the look on Marie''s face as well, as she was reminded of her own father.


    Madam Marie had not expected Wilbur to purchase the meteorite for a price as high as a hundred million dors, and this money would be a lifeline to her family.


    This made Marie see Wilbur as a hero, and she got straight to the point and revealed that her father was gravely ill and in need of a lot of money for treatment.


    Wilbur nodded. "You''re a good daughter, Madam Marie. I''m sure your father will get better soon."


    "I hope so."


    While waiting for the staff to transport the auctioned items to the space in the underground basement, Marie asked for Wilbur''s contact.


    Due to the fact that he was in a situation where it was not the most convenient to meet up with Marie so easily, Wilbur had Tina pass her contact to Marie instead.


    Marie was overwhelmed with emotion as she said, "My father has many more antiques at home, Mister Penn. If you''d like, you''re free to visit my house to take a look at them. I''ll sell them to you at the lowest price."


    Wilbur nodded. "Thank you, Madam Marie."


    Upon saying so, Wilbur turned to leave with Tina in tow. Wilbur had had a pretty decent impression of Madam Marie, but her mentioning that she had more antiques at home made a wave of disgust re up in Wilbur''s chest.


    After all, the items Marie had auctioned off were Dashan treasures that had ended up overseas. These items were undoubtedly precious, but they belonged to Dasha in the first ce.


    Marie''s family had clearly never intended to return these antiques to Dasha and were in fact still trying to profit from them.


    Of course, Marie was doing this as she had no other way of helping her sick father. To Wilbur, however, a hundred million dors should suffice for Marie and her family to live the rest of their lives in considerablefort.

    After driving an hour back to Tina''s house in Aidementon, Wilbur rushed to the attic and entered his demine at once.


    His body was positively drained now, and Wilbur practically rushed to contribute the golden dagger and two sets of armor for a total of three hundred grace points.


    Following that, Wilbur tossed the meteorite into the Dragon''s Altar. That got him five hundred grace points.


    All four antiques had gotten Wilbur a total of eight hundred grace points.


    The screen lit up with a dozen options.
