As the strange coursed through the air, Erin began sprinting towards Wilbur once


    more.


    In the midst of his chant, Erin, who was already under the queen bug''s control, cast a spike toward the figure on the hill.


    Wilbur''s gaze hardened at the sight, sending a thunder spear over and shattering the spike into ashes in mid-air.


    He did not hold back anymore after that, expanding the area of the Holy Way of Thunder, trapping the possessed Erin within it.


    "You cold-blooded monsters will never change. You want to go around killing the innocent on my watch? You''d have to be powerful enough to do that! Now you''re going to f*ck off back to your dark world. I promise you this. If I ever see you in your true form, I''ll rip you to bits."


    As the words rang through the air, dark clouds began to gather in the sky. Wilbur uttered a single word, and a thick, purple stripe of lightning struck down from the heavens against Erin''s possessed body.


    "What a boastful im! I''ll let you win this time! Fear the day I descend myself, for you shall live in misery forever... Hahahaha..."


    As Erin''s body was struck once more, Erin''s body was reduced to ashes, but not before the queen bee said itsst words.


    Wilbur hardly cared about what the queen bee had to say. His priorities were on the twelve Mars bugs.


    He came up to Erin''s ashes, sighing in regret upon realizing that he had forgotten about the Mars bugs amidst his rage.


    Right after that, however, a huge gust of wind blew Erin''s ashes away to reveal a few crystal-clear bugs!


    Wilbur gasped.


    "Damn! These buggers survived my thunder powers without even getting a scratch! No wonder the dude in the altar''s so hungry for them."


    Wilbur was shocked by the fact that the bugs had been able to survive his thunder powers.


    He ced the Mars bugs into his bag one by one before ncing at the sky and deciding to return to the inn to bring Betty and Monica along to Aidementon.


    Just as Wilbur was about to take care of Jonas as well, he realized that the guy had long since disappeared.


    "Count your lucky stars that you were able to run in time! If I catch you again, I''m afraid you won''t be half as lucky!"


    Wilbur searched the perimeters with his spirit energy to make sure that Jonas was indeed gone, before rushing back to the inn.


    He did not bother Tammy, who had just witnessed the death of her father and brothers.


    After all, Wilbur himself had been the one to kill her father.


    Back at the inn, Betty and Monica were greatly relieved to see Wilbur return.


    The three of them had a quick dinner in the inn, and Wilbur told the twodies where their daughters were.


    After dinner, Wilbur returned to his room and entered his demine to approach the Dragon''s Altar at once.
