"If he really shows up, we might be dead before Mister Erin gets here. Perhaps we shoulde up with a n of sorts?"
Derkley fell silent for a beat, before saying, "Well, of course. You call Jonas up right now and get those peak Ambience level zombies out to hold the fort down to buy us time!"
"On it."
Peele did not seem afraid of this oing battle against Wilbur, and there was even an unreadable glint in his eyes.
Other people might not know what these ''zombies'' were, but Peele was one of Derkley''s pupils and knew what those zombies were.
Derkley had managed to get to peak Ambience level purely through forging these zombies and extracting their death essence to advance in cultivation.
The truth was that Derkley''s crazed massacre and sacrificing ritual many years ago had happened so he could create these zombies.
Now, however, he had gotten incredibly secretive and professional with his ways. Derkley had not just strategically decided to only create these zombies within the castle, but many of the people he had turned into zombies had been kidnapped from foreignnds.
Hardly anyone knew about this. Only Peele and Jonas were in the know. Even Watson and Derkley''s daughter, Tammy, knew nothing about this.
Aside from this secret, Peele also knew that Derkley had also discovered a way to use the zombies to cultivate without having to extract their death essence.
That was what Peele was after, and why he had remained loyal to Derkley!
Derkley had never let anyone else touch the zombies, but now he was asking Peele to bring them out to buy them time. That was exactly what Peele wanted. First, Peele called Jonas like he had been told to. Then, Derkley gave Peele a special key and a blood amulet carved with strange runes on it.
Derkley said, "This is the Bloody Amulet. After you open the door to the secret room, you''ll put some of your blood on the amulet and the zombies. That way you''ll be able tomunicate with them and control them as you wish! Aside from that, these zombies can give their spiritual energy to you in case you need it, which will give you significantly more spiritual energy than others to win the battle! Go, and be careful."
Peele got to his feet and bowed to Derkley. "Don''t worry, Mister Derkley. I won''t let you down!"
Upon saying so, Peele headed to the secret room underground in the manor with what Derkley had given him.
Peele had never been inside the room before. He unlocked the door with the key and was greeted with the sight of five zombies armed with sets of armor that seemed to be forged out of strange runes.
The zombies had not been awakened with the blood ritual yet, but Peele could sense the aura of danger radiating off them.
All five of the zombies were at peak Ambience level, and the armor they were wearing greatly boosted their powers. Peele was willing to believe that the zombies would even be able to hold up against a Sanctuary level elite!
Peele took in the sight of the zombies he had dreamed of,mitting the zombies'' details to memory before beginning the blood ritual to awaken them.
He did as Derkley had instructed, dripping his blood onto the Bloody Amulet and the zombies.
Upon doing so, the runes on the zombies'' armor began to emit a faint red glow.
All five zombies exploded with a murderous aura as if they were demons waking from a long slumber and out for blood!
