    They looked at each other cluelessly after hearing their boss'' order before stepping aside obediently.


    Wilbur looked at Monica next to him and said, "Take the gun and leave first! Shoot them if anyone dares to touch you."


    Monica shook her head determinedly after she heard Wilbur. "They won''t let you go easily if I leave! As long as Ryce is alive, he''lle after us for sure. They will find us again soon enough even if I leave now."


    Wilbur patted her face because she looked nervous. He calmed her down before saying, "Listen to me, Monica. Leave first, then send me a text when you''re safe. I''ll look for youter, and I promise no one will trouble us for what happened today. Do you trust me?"


    Monica looked into his eyes. He was close to her, she considered for a moment, then she kissed him hard on the cheek. Then, she announced, "From now on, I''m all yours. If you die here, I''ll avenge you!"


    With that said, she passed through the crowd without looking back, leaving the secret hideout safely.


    She would send a text to prove she was safe after she left, and that would be the time that Wilbur knew he should end things.


    Meanwhile, Ryce has yet to realize Wilbur''s n to kill him. He only saw that Wilbur was checking his phone, so he nned to get away from him first before seeking revenge.
