Thedy forced out a smile. "It''s alright, darling. cky has escaped with our son, and they''re going to be fine. I''ll be by your side, even in death."
All of a sudden, the ground began to shake.
Esha got a huge shock, looking around her wildly.
Thedy got to her feet at top speed as countless knights d in ck appeared and charged toward them.
The knights all emitted a spiritual glow- they were all cultivators.
The man let out a sigh. "I''m sorry that I can''t protect you anymore."
He closed his eyes after that, for the veryst time.
The hundred or so people around him trembled from head to toe.
"What should we do, Madam Rocher?" one of the elders cried out in agony.
A sword appeared in thedy''s grasp, before spinning around her.
Before thedy could even tear up, she said, "You''re all followers of the Rocher family. It''ll only be your turn once the Rochers are all dead."
There were about ten thousand knights then, all of them surrounding the town and letting out roars filled with gusto.
The ground shook where they stood, and buildings crumbled as they charged.
Thedy slowly rose into the air, shouting, "I swear to the ancient gods on my life and soul, to protect my family and followers."
As her words rang through the air, thedy burst into mes and turned into a zing sun.
A terrifying spiritual pressure began to spread outward as her sword let off a blinding glow. It began to vibrate violently, letting out a bone-chilling howl.
The next second, the sword had multiplied by the tens of thousands before hurtling in all directions toward the knights.
They cried out in agony before copsing to the ground, the daggers piercing through them and their horses.
The people around thedy knelt on the ground, sobbing their hearts out.
Wilbur could not help but sigh.
Just then, Esha said shakily, "You''re powerful, aren''t you? You should save them."
The knights were all dead, but anyone could tell that this was not and that anyone could survive on.
Wilbur nced at Esha. "This is a spirit world, one the ancestors of the Rocher family left behind for the future generations to understand the history of their family. We can''t do anything."
"How could this be?" Esha asked in despair.
Just then, Wilbur took out the flying dagger from his demine silently.
The Rocher ancestors had been great people, but their descendants were a far
cry away. Seamus'' generation was especially horrifying.
All of a sudden, the entire world cracked like a mirror.
Wilbur got a shock, yanking Esha up and heading towards where they hade from at top speed.
"What''s happening?" Esha cried out in shock.
Wilbur said as he ran, "This world''s going to crumble, and my spirit energy''s going to be destroyed if I don''t make it out in time, and you''re going to be dead."
Esha turned even paler in the face.
The world behind them was crumbling at an rming speed that far surpassed how fast the two of them were running, and the cracks practically reached their backs.
Wilbur channeled all of his spirit energy into the flying dagger, and it lit up with roaring silver spirit mes at once.
"Open, damn it!"
Wilbur roared the words, and the dagger flew out in front of him.
An explosive sound filled the air all of a sudden as a massive, powerful spirit energy rippled over. Esha could not withstand it at all and passed out at once. The entire world behind them crumbledpletely.
