Yet Seamus said, "I understand where you''reing from, but we can''t wait any longer. Elder Fornst lost to Wilbur, and our family''s reputation will be ruined if we don''t kill him. We risk being attacked by enemies who want us dead, and the Rochers might be wiped out for good."
The rest of the family fell silent.
They all knew that the Rochers had countless enemies.
They had taken so much from others in the past few decades, and there were many people who were more than happy to rip them to shreds.
It was precisely because they had the support of a Sanctuary level cultivator that these people did not dare to try anything.
Now that Chandler had lost, the Rochers'' power had been challenged. Those enemies were probably rearing to go, ready to try anything to get their revenge.
It was important to note that a lot of these enemies were also rich. If they were to join forces, the Rochers might not be able to handle it.
Once the Rocher family fell, those people would take everyst one of them out without leaving any survivors.
The thought made the Rocher family members tremble out of fear.
Seamus had a point. What were they going to do?
Seamus spoke up then. "I''ve made up my mind on the decision. We need Elder Fornst to be a Super Sanctuary level cultivator, and I believe he''ll stay loyal to our family and fight for us as well."
"Mister Seamus, I swear right now to live and die with the Rocher family and shall suffer a terrible death if I go against my word."
Chandler knew that he would have to show his sincerity for the Rochers to trust him
After all, Seamus was giving him the chance to be a Super Sanctuary level cultivator. He was willing to do anything for that to happen.
The Rochers fell silent.
They knew that a mere promise could not guarantee Chandler''s loyalty for sure, but there was no room for them to negotiate, not after Seamus had made his mind up.
Seamus turned to nce at Candler, before putting his hand on the box.
A metal spike shot out of the box, breaking the skin on Seamus'' palm as blood gushed out and stained the lid of the box red.
Upon absorbing Seamus'' blood, the box lit up with dense, intricate patterns that emitted a blinding glow.
The next second, the sides of the box fell to reveal a dagger.
The dagger was about a foot long. It was unclear how long it had been sitting in the box, but it let off a dazzling glow and a powerful spiritual pressure that made everyone feel like they were submerged in an ocean.
Seamus'' blood continued to flow, dripping onto the dagger, and was instantly absorbed.
He turned to Chandler then. "You can take it now, Elder Fornst. Absorb the energy
in the dagger, and I look forward to your battle against Wilbur."
Chandler bowed to Seamus, a solemn expression on his face. "Thank you for this honor. I shall never forget the Rochers'' generosity."
Chandler reached out towards the dagger shakily, holding it in his hand.
An invincible surge of energy entered his body at once, making him positively tremble with glee.
That was definitely the power of a Super Sanctuary level cultivator. Seamus had been telling the truth.
"Thank you for your generosity, Mister Seamus!" Chandler''s voice was trembling as he spoke.
Seamus merely smiled.
The next second, however, Seamus'' smile turned absolutely incredibly sinister.
