All they had to do now was make sure that they served Wilbur well and the Nees family''s safety would be guaranteed. With such a powerful connection, the Neeses would practically be untouchable in all of Dasha from now on.
The Nees brothers were ovee with gratitude and glee.
Wilbur chatted along with them. He would be out of there with that bangle the second Cape had settled the financial issue.
Not long after, Chandler and Sawyer returned to the Rocher Manor.
Chandler described everything that had happened to Seamus, all while Sawyer
trembled in a corner from the residual fear.
Seamus looked positively murderous upon hearing what happened.
Wilbur was of Sanctuary level, and even more powerful than Chandler.
The news struck the Rochers harshly.
It was important to note that the Rochers had gotten to where they were now by stepping on others and taking what did not belong to them, and there were countless families in Hemount City who hated them.
Now that they had shown their weakness, there would be people lurking, ready to tear them to pieces.
Chandler''s defeat would damage the Rochers'' reputation greatly, and it would be no surprise if someone else was plotting to push them further down and take over.
Chandler sighed after he was done. "I really tried my best, Mister Seamus. I''m sorry I wasn''t good enough, and I have no right to remain here. I''ll leave now."
He was about to get up after speaking, when Seamus said, "Elder Fornst, are you going to leave just like that? Don''t you regret what happened?"
"I hate to admit it, but Mister Penn is far more powerful than I am. There''s nothing I can do," said Chandler.
Seamus got to his feet then, pacing around the living room.
The next second, he said, "The Rocher family used to be a family of cultivators a few generations ago."
Chandler was shocked to hear that. This was news to him, and even Sawyer looked surprised.
Seamus continued on. "Unfortunately, the Rochers lost their cultivator abilities during my grandfather''s generation. We''ve not had any cultivators in the family since then."
Chandler fell silent, before saying, "I can understand how you feel, Mister Seamus, but there''s nothing you can do about that."
Cultivation was something you were born with, and not anyone could do it. The world would be filled with cultivators otherwise.
Seamus looked up at Chandler. "However, my ancestors passed down a powerful treasure with immense power that can improve your skills and raise them to another level. Would you be interested, Elder Fornst?"
Chandler was stunned. He had heard of such a treasure, but it was extremely
rare.
A treasure that could raise the level of Sanctuary level cultivator was positively unheard of, and Chandler would be lying if he said he was not interested.
Seamus saw the shock in his eyes, and said, "I can let you absorb the powers of that treasure and be a Super Sanctuary level cultivator."
"Really?" Chandler blurted out.
It was important to note that getting to a higher level at the stage he was at was practically impossible.
Seamus nodded. "Really. My ancestors passed this treasure down to me, and only the head of the family knew about it. We''ve been waiting for a cultivator to show up in the Rocher family so that he can absorb the powers of the treasure and make us a family of cultivators, but that has not happened after seven generations. I can''t wait any longer."
Chandler understood what the words implied.
The Rochers had taken a huge blow, and they had countless enemies. There was really no waiting now.
"What are the conditions?" Chandler could not help but ask.
Seamus looked at Chandler.
