The Neeses were intimidated as the powerful spiritual pressure in the air nearly suffocated them.
It was said that the Rochers had an arsenal of elites working for them, and every core member of the Rocher family had a cultivator by their side.
The elite with Sawyer was clearly terrifyingly powerful.
Just then, the long sword in Chad''s grasp burned with roaring spiritual mes that filled the air.
Sawyer seemed all the smugger at this.
An Ambience level cultivator could pretty much get whatever he wanted in Hemount City—and Chad was barely the tip of the iceberg that was the cultivators working for the Rochers.
Sawyer was here to teach the Nees family a lesson.
His father was old, and nowhere nearly as ruthless as he used to be. Having to arrange a marriage between the Rochers and the Neeses just to take over Nees Corp was honestly ridiculous.
Sawyer would have rather just taken thepany from them through brute force. After all, the Rochers were the top dog of Hemount City, both in the business circles and the physical power of their men. They even had the support of the officials! The Nees family would hardly be able to even hold a candle to them.
What was wrong with beating the Neeses into submission, as long as they werepensated with a little bit of money at the end?
Sarah went pale in the face, trembling as she hid behind Wilbur. The spiritual pressure of an Ambience level cultivator was terrifying to a regr mortal.
On top of that, Chad''s spiritual pressure continued to increase by the second. The spiritual pressure bursting out of the sword began to ring with a high-pitched whistle, bringing about fierce winds in the entire living room.
The Neeses went all the paler in the face. From how things were going, the living room would copse any second under such power.
"Please don''t get physical about this, Mister Sawyer. We can talk this out," Warner pleaded desperately.
The Neeses had always beenw-abiding businessmen, and they would be in huge trouble if someone were to die in their own house.
Yet Sawyer merely smirked, not saying a word.
All he wanted was to knock the Neeses down a peg, assert his dominance, and then have them obey his every whim and fancy on his own ord. He was going to prove to his father that he was capable enough and prove that his father was getting old and soft.
Just as everyone was panicking, Wilbur clicked his tongue nonchntly. "Wow, you''re at the beginner Ambience level. How terrifying."
Chad was thrown off guard. How did this guy seem to know exactly what level he was at?
Wilbur looked frightfully normal.
Just then, Wilbur said, "Sawyer Rocher. Get out of here with your men, or I won''t go easy on them."
"You won''t go easy on them? What a joke!" Sawyer burst outughing at once. "And what exactly are you nning to do, huh? Go on, I''d like to see it."
Sawyer leaned back in his chair and stretched out two fingers. One of the bodyguards behind him put a cigar between them, the other one moving to light it.
Sawyer puffed on his cigar, looking nothing but smug.
Warner was on the verge of tears, shouting, "Wilbur, apologize to Mister Sawyer this instant! You can''t afford to get on his bad side!"
Warner did not want there to be a casualty in his house, nor did he want Wilbur to lose his life.
Nevertheless, Chad has raised his sword, pointing it directly at Wilbur.
An overwhelming spiritual pressure came hurtling toward Wilbur at once.
Chad was trying to use his spiritual pressure to take Wilbur down without having to fight at all.
This would be more than enough to take a regr mortal out, forcing them to the ground bleeding from all their orifices.
Just then, however, Wilbur made a simple wave with his hand as if he was simply swatting a pesky bug away.
The next second, a razor-sharp sword aura shot out from Wilbur''s hand toward Chad.
