Wilbur felt like it was time they took that step.


    He ripped off the nightgown Faye was wearing, revealing her perfect figure to him all at once.


    The tantalizing sight made Wilbur''s mouth go dry, and the urge in him grew even stronger.


    Just as he was about to make the next move, Faye grabbed a nket and covered herself with it. "Wait!"


    Wilbur stared at her dumbly. What was there to wait for? He was rearing to go!


    Yet Faye said, "Wilbur, I''m more than happy to do this. I just hope we can wait until the day we''re married."


    Wilbur fell silent.


    A long pauseter, he sat up. "I''m sorry."


    "Don''t be. I just don''t want to regret anything, you know?" Faye''s tone was gentle as she sat up next to Wilbur.


    Wilbur smiled. "I understand. I guess we need to start nning that wedding."


    Faye nodded with a smile.


    "I''ll try my best," said Wilbur. "Just let me finish what I have on hand, alright? I''ll be bringing Sarah to your office tomorrow. Just give me a little time."


    "I know. I''ll wait for you," said Faye.


    Wilbur nodded, getting up to leave Faye''s room.


    After he was gone, Faye let out a long sigh.


    Indeed, she had wanted to give herself to Wilburpletely at the start.


    Yet as things progressed, Nancy appeared between the both of them.


    Faye herself understood the feelings between Wilbur and Nancy.


    Nancy was not only Wilbur''s ssmate and childhood friend but also someone who had helped him out greatly when he was younger.


    From a certain standpoint, Wilbur and Nancy''s rtionship ran even deeper than the one Wilbur had with Faye.


    Nancy had applied to work abroad just to get away from all of this, not wanting to be caught in the middle of both of them.


    Faye understood that love was sometimes selfish, and Nancy definitely loved Wilbur as much as Faye did herself.


    However, Nancy''s guilt came from the fact that Faye and Wilbur had started dating first.


    Faye could not bring herself to do such a thing behind Nancy''s back. What would she think once she had returned?


    Thus, Faye did not know how to handle this either.


    What she had said just now had only been an excuse. She knew how busy Wilbur


    was, and who knew when they would actually have the time to get married.


    This was the only thing she could do to prevent Nancy from being too sad.


    The thought made Faye''s eyes well up with tears.

    Wilbur looked nothing but down when he returned to his room as well.


    He had figured out Faye''s intentions, but he could not marry two people at the same time.


    He sat in silence, letting out a loud sigh before entering his sea of consciousness.


    The ball of ck light that the Banshee of Darkness had turned into was still locked up in the Godly Dungeon.


    Wilbur stood next to it, observing closely.


    The ball of light would change its shape every now and then as if there was life in


    it.


    Wilbur knew, however, that the Godly Dungeon had all its connections to the outside world cut off and was now merely a ball of consciousness energy.


    Wilbur was no stranger to dark forces, as he had the power of darkness himself.


    However, this time he made up his mind to do some proper research on the energy.
