Wilbur smiled. "Don''t you worry about what I do. I can solve any of your problems, that much I can promise you."


    Sarah stared at him in a daze. This guy had some nerve, huh?


    Wilbur looked back at Sarah calmly.


    A long pauseter, Sarah scoffed and said, "Sure, I''ll tell you then. I ran away from an engagement. My father married me off by force to a rich guy because of financial trouble, and the wedding''s in three days. That''s why I ran away, but this also means my familypany''s doomed. They''re not going to get that financial support, and my fiance, Sawyer Rocher, is going to retaliate for sure. My family''spletely screwed. What can you do about that?"


    Wilbur fell silent for a while, before saying, "It''s simple. I''ll let Cape analyze yourpany and find out what it needs. If it''s money that will help with thepany''s operations, Cape can invest. As for your fiance, I can talk to him and have him call the engagement off if you really don''t want to marry him."


    Sarah stared at Wilbur as if she was looking at a ghost.


    He was saying all of this like it was the easiest thing in the world to do.


    A beatter, Sarah shook her head with a dry chuckle. "You sure make it sound easy. Do you even know the scale Cape runs on?"


    "It''s a consortium worth hundreds of billions of dors," Wilbur replied with a smile.


    Sarah rolled her eyes. "What makes you think Cape would invest in Nees Corp, huh?"


    "Well, I''m sure it''ll be fine as long as Nees Corp isn''t too far gone, or broke thew," Wilbur answered.


    "How are you so sure?" Sarah peered at Wilbur.


    Wilbur shrugged. "Let me put it this way. Miss Faye Yves, the CEO of Cape, is my girlfriend. She''s at least got to help me out that much."


    "Ha, as if!" Sarah could not help but blurt out.


    Cape International ran on a global scale, and Faye was practically a goddess of the business world.


    This man looked frightfully normal, and the clothes he was wearing hardly seemed reflective of his status.


    Was he out of his mind, saying that Madam Yves was his girlfriend?


    Wilbur smiled. "I can have here over right now if you don''t believe me or invite you into her office tomorrow."


    Sarah began to hesitate at Wilbur''s words. This was a lie that was so easy to prove false. Surely he would never be so foolish?


    A long pauseter, she eventually said, "Fine. Let''s say I believe you''re dating Madam Yves. What makes you think Sawyer is going to call off the engagement, though? Their family''s worth a few billions too, they won''t be scared of Cape because they don''t need your money."


    "I''ll have a talk with them too. Either way, I''ll have him call it off solely because you don''t want it," Wilbur said.


    Sarah frowned. "I might not want the engagement, but my entire family has been looking forward to the wedding so that Rocher Corp will save the Neeses. Sawyer can hold one hell of a grudge, and there''s no way you''re going to be able to convince him. Calling off the engagement is far too embarrassing."


    "Oh, you don''t have to worry about that. I''ll handle everything, and I can assure you I''ve got a way around him. You won''t be losing anything if I fail either, right? You''ll be fine," Wilbur smiled.


    Sarah peered at Wilbur as if she was trying to get a sign.


    A long pauseter, Sarah finally said, "Alright, then. Take me to Cape tomorrow, and I''ll believe you have the power to handle Sawyer Rocher as long as you can prove you''re dating Madam Yves."


    "You''ve got a deal. Wait for my call tomorrow. I''ll pick you up."


    Wilbur got up to leave after that. Sarah stared after him, stunned.


    This guy really was out of his mind, huh?


    A long whileter, Sarah shook her head and smiled bitterly to herself. "I really have lost my mind, believing in a lunatic like that. I really am desperate."


    Letting out a sigh, she stripped bare to reveal her perfect figure before stepping into the shower.
