The man walked over to Wilbur, stopping a few meters before him carefully. "Sir, we''ve got a crowd here. It''d be bad for there to be a stampede. How about youe to my office, and we have a talk there?"
"Sure," Wilbur said nonchntly.
The man in the suit seemed a little surprised, but quickly said, "This way, please."
Wilbur gestured at Elise. "Come on, let''s go."
Elise nodded, taking Wilbur by the arm.
The man in the suit had honestly not expected Wilbur to agree to go with him so calmly.
The best n of action when incidents like this happened was to first get the attacker away from the crowd at all costs, then capture them after that so that casualties and injuries would be minimized.
As long as Wilbur was willing to go with him, he could do anything he wanted once they got to his office.
These officers were all armed, for crying out loud. Of course they would be able to take down one man.
The man in the suit waved a hand at Wilbur, before turning to lead the way as Wilbur and Elise followed behind him.
The Special Forces officers followed behind the pair, their guns pointed to the ground.
Just then, a beautiful woman with Eastern features happened to pass by with her assistants and bodyguards. Her eyes widened at the sight of Wilbur being followed by the officers.
The man in the suit walked over to her. "There''s been an incident here, ma''am. Pleasee back in a bit."
"What is it? I''ve got lots of fans waiting on a photo with me," thedy scowled.
The man said, "Someone''s been hurt, and we also need to clean up the scene while keeping order. It''s best that you wait a little longer."
The woman paused, ncing at Wilbur once more.
The man in the suit had led Wilbur away by then. Behind them, many guards blocked the entrance before beginning to clean the scene up.
Thedy scowled at the mess left behind. "What a nuisance. Let''s go."
She turned to leave, clearly in a bad mood.
Not long after, Wilbur arrived at a room with everyone else.
It looked like an office, but all that was there in the sprawling room was a meeting
table and a dozen chairs. The surroundings were empty.
Right after Wilbur had entered, the officers bolted the doors shut.
The man in the suit sat down on a chair, putting an ankle on the other knee as he looked at Wilbur. "My name is Caesar. I''m the head of security here. What''s yours?"
"Wilbur Penn." Wilbur swaggered over to a chair across Caesar with Elise in tow, sitting down.
Caesar frowned, rapping on the table with his knuckles. "Mister Penn, assaulting a security guard to such an extent willnd you in jail."
"Really? I hardly think so." Wilbur looked nothing but calm, reaching for a cigarette.
Caesar furrowed his brows. "You''re a little too confident for your own good, aren''t you?"
"Too confident?" Wilbur smirked. "That guard seemed pretty confident when he called thisdy a filthy Dashan, too."
Caesar eyed Wilbur coldly. "You could very well file a report on him for what he called your friend, but assaulting others is wrong. You need to face legal consequences for that."
Elise looked at Wilbur worriedly. If they were to view it from a legal standpoint, Wilbur might actually have to bear the responsibility.
Yet Wilbur merely leaned back in his chair. "Let me put it this way, then. I was being merciful by sparing his life. He insulted me and my people and deserved what wasing to him. You, as head of security, should be responsible for this too. I''ll let you go if you apologize to us now or you''re going to end up just like him."
Caesar was shocked. He even began suspecting that this guy had lost his mind. Why else would he say something so ridiculous?
