Chapter 1439

However, the Emperor''s Crown was not something the sea monster could fight against.

The historical halberd instantly ripped its tentacles to shreds and prated the huge head of the sea monster.

The spiritual mes of the sea monster died out as it groaned. The groan echoed throughout the sea, and the monster turned into a mountain of limp flesh, floating lifelessly on the sea.

Meanwhile, a raging dissipating energy started a tsunami at the sea. A hundred- meter-high wave went toward the coastline.

Lindon and the others had barely snapped out of their daze before they saw the iing wave, which once again plunged them into despair.

Wilbur stepped toward the sea as if he was just walking down some stairs.

Each step he took pushed the waves back. With each sessive step he took toward the sea, the huge wave was pushed back gradually.

When he reached the sea surface and ced his feet on the water, the sea was calm and peaceful once more.

Lindon and the others felt stunned to witness the miracle, leaving them utterly speechless.

Hans gasped and he could not stop trembling.

Wilbur stepped next to the dead body of the sea monster. He retrieved the historical halberd and tossed it back to the demine.

Then, he smashed the dead body into bits with one punch before grabbing something.

There was a basketball-sized, blue-colored monster core in his hand.

The monster''s core looked just like the sea with a clear and pure blue color. There was blue iridescence spinning inside, forming countless runes that emitted terrifying and powerful energy.

Wilbur nodded with satisfaction and tossed the monster core into the demine.

Hans nervously looked at the sea because he did not see his father.

Charlie was deep in the sea at that moment. He abruptly opened his eyes.

Spiritual energy started to activate inside him. He shot out from the sea like a cannon, then he descended and stood next to Wilbur.

    "Are you alright?" asked Wilbur.

Charlie nced at the dead sea monster. He replied, "I''m fine, sir. It''s only a minor injury."

"It''s not a minor injury, but it''s alright. You''ll be fine when youe back with me and recuperate," said Wilbur while smiling.

Charlie bowed and said, "Yes, sir."

    "Let''s go."

He said it nonchntly before walking towards the docks. Charlie followed him closely.

He did not know how Wilbur killed the sea monster because he was unconscious.

However, he imagined it was an outstanding attack from Wilbur, judging from the dead body.

He felt like Wilbur was a lot better than him. He was truly impressed, and he felt happy that he was able to be his follower. He almost felt excited about it.

Hans knelt when they returned to the docks. He wanted to show his utter respect.

Lindon and the others stood there in a daze. They looked at Wilbur and did not know what to do.

"The issue has been resolved, everyone. Let''s go back, alright?" asked Wilbur while smiling.

Lindon and the others could not snap out of it. They rooted in ce with shock as though they had seen an alien.

Elise was especially so. Various expressions appeared on her face, and she looked at Wilbur with a strange look in her eyes.

Wilbur frowned and felt like other people would arrive soon. He thought that it was not a good idea to stay.

Therefore, he ignored Elise and the others and walked away instead.

    Charlie and Hans quickly followed.

"Sir, how about you stay at my castle for a few days? It will be very chaotic for a while," suggested Hans carefully.

Wilbur thought that it was a good idea.

A lot of supernatural incidents urred. The government, media, and people from all sorts of industries would surely try to investigate.
