Gary looked at the destroyed cer and porch in shock. "He''s really here?"
Michael nodded slowly.
Gary stared at the fiery cross sword Michael was holding. "But you have the Ring of Fire, sir! How could he have escaped?"
The next second, he realized that he had said the wrong thing and shut up at once.
However, Michael merely shed a smile. "That''s alright. Either way, we have an excuse to act now. Let''s get to work."
"Now?" Gary frowned.
Michael smiled. "The Pope of the Church of the me Dragon Lord showed
public support for a national traitor and attacked a senior member of the Church of Holy Illuminati on top of killing a holy warrior. He has undeniably provoked the authority of both the nation of Terya and our church. Gather all our forces and head to the border now. Take this unholy spawn down and avenge our church."
"What about Gango, though? We''d be crossing the border if a war breaks out," Gary said worriedly.
Michael merely said, "We''ll just overthrow them if they''ve got anything to say about it. Isn''t that what you''re best at?"
Gary nced at Michael. "Then let''s get started, since you''ve made up your mind."
A few hourster.
Nine holy warriors, a hundred church militia knights, and five hundred Scorpion Army soldiers had gathered.
Michael stood facing everyone, his voice loud as he called out, "My fellow courageous believers of the Holy Illuminati Lord,e with me to take down these unholy spawns. The glory of our church shall never be dimmed."
"The glory of our church shall never be dimmed."
Everyone chanted the words in a loud roar and began heading for the border. Over at the Gango border, Wilbur had returned to the temporary base with Tyrone. The former president had woken up by then but was in an extremely weak state. Wilbury him down in the tent, and Karl and the others came over.
"You made it back safely, Your Holiness." Karl and his men bowed.
Wilbur nodded at Tyrone.
Tyrone looked at Wilbur. "Are you His Holiness the Pope of the me Dragon Lord Church?"
"That''s right," said Wilbur.
Tyrone sighed. "I''m really sorry for giving you so much trouble."
"Don''t mention it," said Wilbur. "You''ve always maintained a good rtionship with our church. I won''t let anyone cause you more harm over this."
"The church has helped the people of Terya a lot. Your donations saved tens of thousands of people from starving to death. We should be so grateful to you instead," Tyrone croaked feebly.
Wilbur said, "You''ve done really well. Don''t worry, I''ll help you get your nation back, and your position as president."
"Get my nation back?" Tyrone shed a bitter smile. "Milo now has the support of Gary and Michael. Gary has the infamous Scorpion Army under his wing, and Michael has the holy warriors and church militia knights from his church. They''re far too powerful. We won''t be any match for them."
Wilbur replied in a solemn manner, "You don''t need to worry about that. Just get some rest and recuperate in peace."
Just then, however, a car sped over and someone came over to report, "Your Holiness, the president''s envoy has asked to see you."
"Tell him toe in."
Not long after that, someone else came to the door. "Your Holiness, a fleet is headed our way from Terya. We''re looking at up to a hundred vehicles here."
"They''reing," said Karl to Wilbur.
Wilbur said, "Gather our forces and prepare for battle."
"Yes, Your Holiness." Karl headed out to do as told at once.
Just then, Tarron Welding, the special envoy of Gango''s president entered the
room and bowed to Wilbur. "Your Holiness."
"Is anything the matter?" asked Wilbur.
Tarron frowned. "Your Holiness, the president is extremely worried that your actions might lead to an all-out war between Terya and Gango."
