Chapter 1309

Before Tyrone could even finish, however, Milo had flown to his feet. Behind him, two armed soldiers charged over and pressed Tyrone to the ground.

"Stop the broadcast!" Milo roared, and the live stream was cut immediately.

Backstage, Gary, and Michael were inplete shock.

They could hardly believe that Tyrone had dared to say those words with his family held captive. Was he trying to get his entire bloodline wiped out?

Gary''s jaw fell open in disbelief.

Michael crushed the ss he was holding, his expression murderous.

The next second, Gary looked over at Michael. "What should we do now, sir?"

"What do you think? Kill that old geezer''s family, of course," Michael spat viciously.

"Yes, but what about after that?"

Michael fell silent. "Tell Milo to make a public announcement that Tyrone Simmons has been arrested for treason. The Church of the me Dragon Lord is deemed an illegal religious organization in Terya, and all of its members that refuse to turn themselves in shall be killed without exception."

"Isn''t that a little... blunt?" Gary said worriedly.

Michael sneered. "They''re nothingpared to the glory of the Church of Holy Illuminati. I''d be making a fool out of myself if I did nothing! How am I supposed to face His Holiness? I swore to him that I would take the Church of the me Dragon Lord down, I can''t go back if I don''t get it done. My reputation as one of the three most powerful people in the church would be a joke, wouldn''t it?"

    Gary trembled all over.

Wars in religion had always been ruthless and bloodthirsty, and these three people of power mentioned were far from as kind and merciful as their church preached.

"Yes, sir." Gary hurried off to carry out the order.

    Michael''s expression was practically ashen.

Two hourster, Karl came up to Wilbur and bowed carefully. "Your Holiness, ording to sources from our private spies, Tyrone Simmons'' entire family has been killed by anonymous forces. He has been put through inhumane torture as well and is about to be publicly sentenced to death."

Wilbur narrowed his gaze. "Tyrone Simmons is a good president, one with respectable values and morals. I want to save him and his nation."

"Your Holiness, they have Michael An on their side. He''s extremely powerful and even has ten holy warriors and a hundred knights in their church militia. Gary Olgard from the Fieri Group has a team of mercenaries under his wing as well. We''re hardly preparedpared to them," Karl said worriedly.

Wilbur looked up. "I know, but Tyrone stood his ground in our support. How is our church going to keep growing if we refuse to save him?"

"Yes, Your Holiness." Karl lowered his head, knowing the concerns he raised were still obvious.

Wilbur looked at Karl. "I''ll handle Michael. You, Cameron, and the rest can take on those holy warriors. How''s that?"

"I suppose we might be able to hold up against them," Karl frowned. "But Michael An''s one of the most powerful people of the Church of Holy Illuminati. The church has been around for years, who knows if he might have anything on him."

    "Like what?" Wilbur asked.

Karl lowered his head even more. "Like... a divine weapon or something." Wilbur fell silent for a while, before smirking. "That''d be perfect, then. Alright, we''ll stick with this n. You''re going to take me to the border. Catherine will stay here to organize our believers. It''ll be a tough battle, but the Church of Holy Illuminati is going to find out that we''re not to be messed with."

Seeing as Wilbur had made a decision, Karl nodded his head. He said a few words to Catherine and headed off to the border with Wilbur.

Between Gango and Terya was a sprawling, barrennd up north.

A tablet marker and barbed wire split thend of several hundred square meters

in half, marking the border between both countries.

Gango and Terya were both considerably small nations. Seeing as they were on good terms and were not financially capable, there had been no army guarding the border.

Ever since the political shift, however, Gango had sent over a patrol team of a hundred men to guard the borders at all times.

Terya was busy tending to its political shift and thus had not sent any men over yet.
