Chapter 1265

    "No, I don''t."

"Ah, it''s going to be hard to see him, then. He only greets his believers at the Sleeping Buddha Temple on the fifteenth of every month. No one really sees him otherwise."

"I''ll just have to think of another way, then," said Wilbur.

Bailey shrugged. "I don''t think I can help you out with that, then. Goodbye, Mister Penn."

"Hold on." Wilbur took out a stack of Dashan bills, passing them to Bailey. "Here''s your pay."

Bailey stared at the money in shock, which looked to be no less than ten

thousand dors. "I haven''t even done anything, Mister Penn. I can''t take your money."

A thought seemed toe to her all of a sudden, and she shook her head at Wilbur. "I''m not that kind of girl, either. I''m sorry."

Bailey set the money back down on the table and turned to leave.

Wilbur did not know what to think.

He had just wanted to help out this hardworking exchange student, only for her to misread his intentionspletely.

Yet just as Bailey had opened the door, she let out a scream and ran back to hide behind Wilbur.

Jack was at the door with a few blokes. He had a murderous smile on his face as he walked in.

The blokes were all covered in tattoos with vicious expressions. It was not hard to tell that they were all definitely gangsters and hooligans.

Jack came up to Wilbur with a sneer. "You hit on my girlfriend and threatened me. What are we going to do about that?"

Wilbur nced at the hunky blokes behind Jack with a smile. "And who would these gentlemen be?"

"This is my leader, Sopa. He runs this street." Jack smirked smugly.

One of the blokes behind him, a burly-looking man with a bald head rubbed his head with a murderous smirk at Wilbur.

Wilbur frowned. "Aren''t you a student too, Jack? What are you doing hanging around with people like them?"

"That''s none of your business! Pay up, or you''re going to be sorry," Jack spat.

Wilbur scoffed. "I think you should get lost before you''re sorry."

"How f*cking dare you threaten me in front of my boss?" Jack fumed.

Wilbur frowned, when Sopa took a step forward looking at Wilbur. "You''re going to have to pay for putting your grubby little hands on my kid''s woman. Do you want your money or your life?"

"Don''t go too far, Jack. Mister Penn and I just met today, and nothing''s happened between the both of us," Bailey fumed.

Jack barked out augh. "Oh, really now? You''re in a hotel room together, for crying out loud. A presidential suite, too. Howvish."

"He can do whatever he wants with his money! Don''t be so shameless," said Bailey.

Jack sneered. "Give me a hundred thousand dors, and I''ll get out of here. Or you two horny bastards are going to get it."

Sopa smirked coldly. Bailey was enraged and anxious, her eyes reddening at once.

Wilbur frowned. "You''ve really got a death wish, haven''t you, Jack?"

"You don''t f*cking talk to me like that!" Jack stormed over, throwing a punch in Wilbur''s face as Bailey screamed.

Wilbur smiled. He grabbed Jack''s fist, shaking it lightly.

Jack cried out in pain, copsing at Wilbur''s feet.

Wilbur put a foot on Jack''s face. "I''m going to give you onest chance, young man. Get out of here, and stay away from Bailey, or you''re going to spend the rest of your life regretting it."

"S-Sir!" Jack cried out in terror.

Sopa let out a cry, charging over with his men to surround Wilbur.

    "Let him go!" Sopa shouted.

Wilbur kept his foot on Jack''s face, looking up at Sopa with a smile. "Do you idiots really think you can threaten me?"

"You''re looking to die!" Sopa called out, swinging at Wilbur in a punch that brought about a fierce wind.

It seemed like Sopa knew his way around a fight.

His men called out cockily at the sight, brandishing their fists at Wilbur as well.

Bailey went pale in the face, shouting, "Don''t hit him, please! Please don''t fight!"

Wilbur had a pretty average build and looked like he would be beaten within an inch of his life if these hooligans were to get physical.
