Chapter 1262

Countless information flooded Wilbur''s soul, leaving him unconscious for over half an hour before he finally woke up.

Wilbur opened his eyes, getting to his feet as he mumbled to himself, "That was the reward? What now?"

After remaining in the same position for a while, Wilbur cursed out loud.

"You were just trying to get me to contribute more, you old geezer! Where the hell am I supposed to find so many contributions, huh? How dare you call yourself a god, luring and baiting me so shamelessly?"

After yelling for a few minutes, Wilbur seemed to be a little scared as his head shrank back into his neck and he stole a wary nce at the Dragon''s Altar.

Upon making sure that the old dragon''s consciousness had long since disappeared, Wilbur sneered coldly and left his demine.

    The next morning.

Roshan and the others sent Wilbur to the airport and parted ways with him wistfully.

Wilbur boarded the ne with Ryder to return to Seechertown. Roshan and the others waited until the ne hadpletely disappeared from their sight before leaving, overwhelmed with emotion.

Over at the Sleeping Buddha Temple in Gamuda City, the capital of Shai.

Chain Loja of Shia was currently sitting cross-legged in the main temple hall. Across him was a long line of faithful believers, kneeling on the ground as they waited for their turn to be blessed by the great Chain Loja.

Shia was a Buddhist country, and all of its people including the emperor were faithful believers.

Loja was said to have been visited by the gods in his dreams when he was three, and thus sent to live at the temple by his family.

After entering the temple, Loja could recite full scriptures by heart at the age of four, and then share and preach the Dharma by the age of five. By the age of ten, he had begun visiting temples around the country as well as cultivating.

He reached celestial monk status by the age of 20 and had heavenly clouds and melodic hymns following him wherever he went.

Everyone in Shia knew who Loja was, and they were certain that he was Buddha reincarnated.

At the age of thirty, Loja was made national chain to control everything rted to Buddhism in the country.

As Shia was a Buddhist country, Loja had gained an impossible amount of power at the mere age of thirty, with pupils all over the country.

Even the king of Shia respected him greatly, and the people of Shia practically worshiped him.

Now Loja was already in his sixties, but his appearance looked like he was barely even forty years old. He lounged on his throne in dazzling golden robes, a serene expression on his face.

The followers woulde up to Loja one by one, and he would put his hand on their heads while reciting some scriptures.

The ''blessed'' followers kowtowed gratefully to Loja, still kneeling as they left.

Thissted all the way until the afternoon, and the priests announced that the blessing ceremony was done for the day. Those who were not blessed in time were dismayed, but still sent Loja off with the utmost respect.

Loja got up, smiling at the crowd before turning to head to the back of the temple.

The Sleeping Buddha Temple was the biggest in all of Shia, and also where Shia did most of his cultivating. It was located right next to the royal pce, and the temple was decked out every bit as luxuriously as the pce was.

Loja headed to the hall at the back, where a monk stood guard by the door. This was where he rested, and others were prohibited from entering. Even the king had to give a heads-up beforeing here.

Loja walked across the bridge, ing up to his chambers.

All that could be seen was Kamura kneeling at the door, his wounded, crippled body trembling from head to toe.

Loja nced at him and headed into the chambers before sitting down on a red wooden chair in the vast living room.

    "Come in," Loja beckoned.

Kamura crawled into the room, knocking his forehead to the ground repeatedly as he sobbed, "I''ve brought shame upon you, Master! Please, please forgive me.

Loja nced at Kamura''s broken leg. A beautiful servant came in with tea for Loja, which he took a sip of before setting the cup down.

"Honestly, it''s impressive enough that you''re even still alive."

Kamura blinked at Loja. "W-What do you mean by that, Master? Did you know I was going to lose?"

Kamura could hardly believe his ears.

Why had his master sent him if he knew Kamura would lose for sure? Wouldn''t that be no different than sending Kamura straight to hell?

Loja did not answer the question. Instead, he said, "Who was it that defeated you?"

"A man named Trevor Penn. He''s of super Sanctuary level as well, but much more powerful than I am. I was no match for him." Kamura lowered his head.

    Loja smiled. "Trevor Penn."
