Braum formed a battle hammer in his hand.
Spiritual mes surged on the battle hammer with runes in it. The living room seemed to sink at that moment. Everyone felt like their hearts were going to stop beating.
Braum smashed down when they were shocked and terrified.
Solomon abruptly burst into mists of blood. He did not have time to even let out a tragic scream.
Taylor and the others were instantly scared out of their wits, crying out at the top of their lungs.
Braum scoffed coldly and waved his battle hammer.
Taylor and Gunner burst into mists of blood respectively. Blood instantly filled the living room.
Solomon''s subordinates could not take the terrifying sight. They all wailed and passed out from fear.
Taylor''s girlfriend rolled her eyes and passed out.
Braum said coldly, "Don''t y dead. You should know that this is what happens when you mess with the Kiwanis Club. Anyone who has a problem with that cane and find us."
Solomon''s subordinates secretly rolled their eyes. They were whining inside.
''Do you want us to go to our death?'' they thought.
They continued to y dead, lying there motionless.
Eileen smiled faintly and said, "Alright. Let them live. They''re not worth our time."
Braum scoffed coldly and retrieved his spiritual energy. The battle hammer vanished.
Ivy was stunned by fear.
She did not expect that. She could not believe that the boring-looking Braum was so brutal. He killed without hesitation, and his method was god-like.
She also could not believe that Eileen was reacting normally as a woman. It was as if she was used to it.
Ivy wondered who they were, and what kind of power they possessed. She wondered how they were so calm when it came to killing.
Wilbur stood and looked at them. He asked in a helpless tone, "Can we go back now?"
"Sure," replied Eileen while smiling.
Wilbur shook his head and walked toward Ivy. He said, "Don''t be scared. You''ll slowly get to know the truth of this world."
Then, he walked out of the room.
Ivy fearfully followed them back to the Kiwanis Club.
They started working in the meeting room again, and everything went back to usual.
However, Ivy could not calm herself down at all.
She realized that the world was not what she imagined.
The people around her were not on the same level as ordinary people.
...
Meanwhile, in Seechertown, Orin was in his mansion.
He sat on the sofa, and his wife, Shannon Campbell, sat next to him. Faron was sitting across from them.
"What''s wrong, Dad? Why did you call me back in such a hurry?" Faron asked.
Orin sighed and replied slowly, "Stop hanging out with Wilbur from now on, and don''t stay over at Seke Ind anymore."
"What did you say?" Faron immediately stood up out of surprise.
Orin sighed and stayed silent.
Shannon said, "Faron, your father got a clear warning that if he wants to be promoted, he has to cut ties with the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense. Wilbur Penn is someone from the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense. You know that, right?"
"I do, but why would they do that?" Faron asked out of confusion.
Orin sighed and replied, "It''s a power move from the authorities, so stop asking about it."
"I won''t do it," Faron dered loudly.
Shannon quickly asked, "Do you want your father to lose his future?"
