Wilbur chuckled when he saw that, and he pulled a chair to the center of the living room. He sat while crossing his legs, and then lit a cigarette.
His actions pissed Taylor off.
Taylor pointed at Wilbur and asked ringly, "How dare you sit in front of Mister Solomon? You better stand up!"
Wilbur nced at him and smiled, saying, "Sorry. I''m tired from walking, so I want to take a short rest."
"You better stand up right now!" yelled Taylor.
Wilbur''s expression turned unfriendly, which sent a shiver down Taylor''s spine.
Solomon said coldly at that moment, "So, you''re Wilbur Penn. Are you the one who injured Taylor and Gunner?"
"That''s right. Are you going to be fighting on their behalf?" asked Wilburzily.
Gunner yelled, "This is my mentor! We call him Mister Solomon, so you better watch it!"
"I''m only polite to my friends. As for my enemies, well, that depends on my mood," Wilbur said while he smoked.
Solomonughed coldly and said, "Buddy, Mister Webster is my friend, and Gunner Leech is my disciple. I''m quite the famous figure in Magic City. I''m afraid you can''t just injure them like that, alright?"
"They messed with me first, so I can''t be med. Besides, I don''t think you''re helping Taylor for free, right?" mocked Wilbur.
Solomon was instantly furious. He wanted to act cool, but Wilbur exposed the truth instead. He was indeed helping them for the money.
Solomon felt humiliated by Wilbur''s statement and the mocking tone, which greatly angered him.
"I only wanted you to apologize to Taylor and Gunner, then pay forpensation, and this will be over. However, I can''t believe you''re so arrogant. It looks like you don''t have any respect for me," Solomon said angrily.
Wilbur replied, "Drop the good guy act. Do you seriously want me to apologize to them? No one here is worthy of polishing my shoes, and that includes you. You guys want me to apologize? Dream on!"
That statement pissed Solomon offpletely. He felt that Wilbur was too f*cking arrogant.
Taylor and Gunner were also furious.
Wilbur had dared to behave arrogantly in front of a powerful Ambience level cultivator, so they wished Solomon would teach him a lesson immediately.
Solomon''s subordinates were also furious, so they cursed and scolded Wilbur.
They wanted to gang up on Wilbur and cripple him.
Wilbur casually smoked like he did not care.
They were a bunch of clowns to him.
Wilbur''s attitude annoyed Solomon further. He stood slowly and said coldly, "You made your choice, so don''t me me for doing this."
"Bring it on. This is just a fight. Stop being a poser," Wilbur teased nonchntly.
"Die!"
Solomon shouted, and a machete instantly appeared in his hand.
The machete looked very threatening with spiritual mes ignited. It emitted a powerful spiritual pressure.
The spiritual pressure instantly kicked up strong winds in the living room, causing their clothes to flutter in the wind.
Taylor immediately cheered and said, "Awesome! This is truly the work of a powerful Ambience level cultivator. Die, Wilbur. This is what happens when you mess with me."
"You ignorant fool. Did you think you''re that great of a fighter? Well, there''s always someone stronger out there. My mentor has been an Ambience level cultivator for over ten years. He''s an elite amongst cultivators. Trash like you will only end up dead, got it?" Gunner looked prideful.
The subordinates also cheered and showered Solomon withpliments.
Solomon smirked coldly and stepped towards Wilbur.
Spiritual energy rolled off from the machete, and spiritual pressure rippled outward in the living room, making it appear quite powerful.
However, Wilbur remained seated with his legs crossed, smoking away. Then, he said in a nonchnt tone, "Good. An Ambience level cultivator is better than the average cultivator."
