    Maddox stared on in shock. His followers were at a loss for words as well.

    Sophie was the only person whooping and cheering at the top of her lungs, filled with admiration.

    Spiritual mes exploded out of the historical halberd, and a storm broke out in the heavens.


    A blinding ball of lightning appeared on the halberd, and a ray of light surged out of it.


    The darkness was dispelled in the blink of an eye. All at once, it seemed like the only light in the world came from this brilliant ball of lightning.


    Its terrifying power seemed to threaten to rip through the heavens altogether, tearing des of wind out of the air and sending them hurtling toward Maddox along with the ball of lightning.


    Maddox was scared out of his wits at the sight of the attack.


    He iled the Abyss Staff in a fit of terror, ck spiritual mes burning all over his body to form a gigantic ck shield in front of him.


    The shield was about three meters wide and roughly eight meters tall.


    There was a carving of a ck demon on it, covered with runes as its edges burned with ck mes, radiating an indestructible aura.


    Everyone watched nervously.


    Just as the shield formed, Heaven''s Tear of Thunder struck the front of the shield.


    A blinding thunderous glow shot out, and the mes only grew stronger.


    The shield had absorbed the ball of lightning.


    Both the ball of lightning and the shield faded into rampant spirit energy, whipping around, and forming a roaring hurricane.


    Maddox heaved a breath of relief, and his followers let out a cheer as well.


    It seemed like Trevor Penn could not trump their master at the end of the day.


    The next second, however, the square began to ring with the piercing howls of fierce winds.


    Countless gigantic des of wind hurtled in from all directions, slicing at Maddox.


    Maddox immediately panicked and moved to defend himself, but it was all toote.
