Demi walked around Wilbur and smiled. She said, "It looks like we''re in luck. I found someone powerful, and you found someone who can afford the price."
"Pay my wage on time. Otherwise, I won''t be kind to you either," said Wilbur in a low voice.
Demi did not get angry, sheughed instead. She said, "I love your personality. You''re my second-inmand from now on. You go where I go, do you understand?"
"Got it." Wilbur sat and lit a cigarette.
"Hand me your phone," said Demi.
Wilbur frowned, but he still passed his phone to Demi.
Demi took out a new phone from her safe. She passed it to Wilbur and said, "You''ll use this one from now on."
Wilbur nodded.
Demi told her assistant to ask for supervisors from various departments.
Eight people came in soon. There were both men and women.
Demi introduced them all.
Then, she said, "Wilbur Penn is my second-inmand from now on. I will pass down my orders to him, got it?"
"Yes," they replied.
She nodded and waved them off. She looked at Wilbur and said, "Let''s go. I have work to attend to."
He stood silently and followed her.
A bunch of supervisors gathered at an office after some time.
"This second-inmand came out of nowhere. I can''t believe a new guy is in charge of us," someone said.
"I think Buff is dead. Did he kill him?"
"So what? How can we allow a new guy to order us around?"
"You''re right. Should we give him an appropriate response?"
"What should we do?"
"Like, kill him?"
"But how?"
"Rifles and bombs. What else?"
"We can''t kill him as that would anger Miss Madres. However, we can teach him a lesson. We should let him know who''s in charge here."
"It''s settled then. We''ll arrange for someone to teach him a lesson. He only has his own luck to me if he dies."
"I agree."
Everyone came to an agreement.
Meanwhile, Wilbur was driving a car. He came to an industrial park with a force of a hundred militants.
They drove in, and the industrial park''s owner quickly came to greet them.
Demi stood in the field and looked at the owner coldly. She said, "Business seems slow these days."
"Let me exin, miss..."
The owner wanted to exin, but she waved him off and said coldly, "I don''t want to hear an exnation. I only know that my iest month was short of a few million dors."
"You know that two hundred million dors each month is no easy feat. Business was slowst month, but I promise to make it up to you this month," he said while sweating bullets.
Demi scoffed coldly and nced at Wilbur.
Wilbur stepped forward and broke the owner''s legs.
The owner screamed and instantly fell to the ground. He hugged his legs and cried.
Demi smiled coldly and left.
Suddenly, someone rushed out of a building like a maniac. She kept screaming gibberish.
A few guards chased after her with weapons.
However, she managed to sprint over. Perhaps her potential was unlocked due to fear. She was clearly desperate for a way out as she ran toward Wilbur.
Wilbur frowned.
Demi also turned to look at her.
It was a skinny girl, and she was bleeding from the waist down.
"Help me! Help me! I want to go home! I want to go home!" she screamed in a deranged way.
The militants next to Demi immediately pointed their guns at the woman to kill her.
However, the woman lunged at Wilbur. She screamed when she saw his face, "Help me! I''m from Dasha, help me!"
Demi gestured at the militants to drop their weapons. She looked at Wilbur coldly.
