Chapter 1058

Wesley was startled, but quickly said, "Just tell me what it is, sir. I won''t say no as long as it''s within my abilities."

Wilbur nced at him. "First of all, I''ll have your head if I find out you lied to me."

"I swear I''m telling the truth. I swear on my life!" Wesley scrambled to say.

Wilbur paid him no mind. "Second of all, I''ll help you get your revenge if you''re telling the truth and return justice to your parents so they can rest well in the afterlife. But in return I''d like to hold most of the shares in yourpany, meaning that you''ll lose control over it."

    "Oh..."

Wesley hesitated at this. If someone else was the majority shareholder and took control of thepany over Wesley, would that not mean that Wesley was still losing thepany and bing someone else''s pawn anyway?

Yet the thought of his parents'' tragic deaths made Wesley grit his teeth and shout, "I''m alright with that. As long as you avenge my parents, I''ll do anything!"

It was fine even if he were to give up control of thepany to someone else, essentially losing it.

Wesley had to exact revenge for his parents, or he would not sleep well for the rest of his life.

Wilbur nodded approvingly at those words. He then shouted, "Ryder!"

Ryder, who was in his office, heard Wilbur''s voice ring in his consciousness.

He got to his feet emotionlessly, heading over to Wilbur''s room.

    "You called for me, sir?"

"I did. Have you sent thatst report in?"

"I''ve sent it in, but I forgot to mention the crystal sternum," Ryder said with a scowl.

Wilbur barked out augh. "You''ve got a bright future ahead of you, I''ll tell you that. Get ready, we''re going out to take care of some things."

"Alright." Ryder turned to leave without asking another question.

Soon after that, he returned to Wilbur''s room holding his briefcase.

Wilbur got to his feet. "Let''s go. I''d like to see who the top dogs of Exodus Province are."

The three men got into the car, driving to the station at Wilbur''s suggestion to take the bullet train.

Bullet trains these days would only take a third or even a quarter of the time it took to drive a car, reaching anywhere in the country within a few hours.

Over in Dansun City, Exodus Province.

Wilbur, Ryder, and Wesley checked in at a hotel.

There was a knock on their door not long after they had settled down.

    "Come in!" Wilbur called out.

The door of the room swung open to reveal an alluring-looking woman and two

    men.

The woman looked around, her gaze flicking past Wilbur and Ryder beforending on Wesley.

"Mister Miller, I''m here to tell you that you should be counting your blessings that you''re still alive. It''s only out of the kindness of Mister Yoma''s heart that you''re still here. Don''t try to take advantage of it," thedy said calmly.

Wesley got emotional almost immediately. "You took everything my family owned from us, pushing my parents to their deaths! How dare you say something like that to me!"

"Call it natural selection, I suppose. It''s just how the industry works," thedy said coldly. "You''ve only got yourselves to me for being too weak. Besides, we''ve got nothing to do with your parents'' deaths. You have no right to bring us into this!"

Wesley shouted, "Would my parents even be dead if it weren''t for the lot of you? You''re all animals, all of you!"

"How dare you, Wesley Miller! I only came here to warn you against trying anything stupid, or you''ll only end up just like your parents," thedy said coldly.

Wesley trembled with rage but could not get a word out. His chest heaved roughly, and he nearly choked on his breaths.

Just then, Wilbur asked, "What''s your name, Ma''am?"
