Chapter 1034

"I''m sure, and to be honest, if it''s possible, you only need one person for the job. You can pay me one hundred and fifty million dors, and I''ll ensure your safety. How about it?"

"Sorry, the other Sanctuary level cultivator is already on their way."

    "I see."

"Please head to Cookville immediately. I hope we can discuss business together this afternoon."

"Alright. How should I address you?" asked Wilbur.

"My name is Jude Cook, from the Cook family in Cookville. I''ll send you the address right away."

    "Alright. I''ll be right there."

He hung up and sent the address.

Wilbur nced at it and started to book a train ticket.

Trains would reach faster than driving. Wilbur also liked to travel by public transport.

Cookville was still a part of Kardon Province, but it was slightly further away. It was almost at the borders of Shaw Province.

He departed after he booked a ticket.

However, he still went to Faye''s room after some consideration.

Faye had just cleaned up, and she was ready to go to work.

"Are you going to work?" asked Wilbur.

    Faye nodded and smiled.

    Wilbur said, "About that..."

Faye spoke before Wilbur could finish, "Flora Duvall deleted the video and posted an apology video. She admitted the nder, and she was detained in the police station. She might face jail time if she gets sued."

Wilbur was silent for a moment when he heard that. He said after a moment''s pause, "Alright. Thanks for the hard work."

Then, he left. Faye had a wicked smile on her face.

Wilbur left Seke Ind and was about to drive to the train station. However, he saw Nancy walking out from Seke Ind too. She was walking towards a car.

    Wilbur was stunned.

''Didn''t Nancy leave because she was angry? Why is she still here?'' he wondered. He did not know how to deal with the Nancy and Faye incident, so he did not dare to contact Nancy over the past few days. He could not believe that she had not left yet.

He hurriedly chased after her after being stunned for a moment. He got out of the car and yelled, "Nancy!"

Nancy saw Wilbur, and there was panic in her eyes. She quickly got into her car.

Wilbur chased after her and said through the window, "I''m sorry, Nancy. I''ve been busy, and I forgot to call you."

He felt ashamed to say that.

However, Nancy said in a panicked tone, "It''s alright! I''m rushing to work, so I''l leave first."

Then, Nancy stepped on the elerator and left.

Wilbur looked frustrated. He sensed that something was off, but he could not tell what was wrong.

He wanted to ask Faye, but he sighed when he looked at the time. He drove to the train station instead.

Wilbur looked at the view on the train and he pondered.

Suddenly, a tall and sexy woman sat next to Wilbur. She talked to Wilbur.

    "Hi."

Wilbur turned his head and smiled politely.

"What''s your name, mister?" asked the woman.

    "Wilbur."

"Oh, hi. I''m Vivian. Are you also traveling?"

"No. I have some business to attend to in Cookville."

"What a coincidence! I''m going to Cookville too. Can we be friends?"

Vivian extended her hand out in a friendly manner.

Wilbur smiled and shook her hand. He said, "Of course."

Vivian ced her luggage on the luggage rack and asked, "Can you tell me why

you''re going to Cookville? Are you from there?"

    "No. I''m there for business."

"What kind of business?" Vivian was acting like a curious cat.

    Wilbur replied nonchntly, "Exploration."

"I see. I''m a fan of exploration too. Can Ie with you?" Vivian looked at Wilbur innocently.

Wilbur frowned and nced at Vivian.

There was nothing abnormal about her. She was only an ordinary person.
