Chapter 897

"Did I win?" Wilbur asked with a grin.

Tiff was stunned for a moment. She quickly replied, "You hit the jackpot, sir! You just won more than ten thousand dors."

"Oh, I guess it''s my lucky day," Wilbur responded with a chuckle.

Tiff helped Wilbur collect the coins while saying, "Sir, you''re truly lucky. You shouldn''t waste it all here. Please go and y something else."

"Do you girls getmissions for ying with the guests?" asked Wilbur with a smile.

Tiff also smiled and replied, "Yes, sir. We earnmissions from exchanging chips or cash refunds. It''s our main ie source. We don''t have a fixed wage."

Tiff did not hide the truth, and Wilbur understood it too.

Otherwise, the girls had no reason to keep a guestpany all the time.

Wilbur knew a thing or two about the casino.

Winning was temporary. There woulde a time when you would lose everything if you kept gambling.

The casino had seemingly endless funds, but the gamblers had limited cash.

It was like gambling with someone who owned a million dors while you only had ten dors.

The gamblers might win at first by ying a few dors.

However, if they kept on going, the million-dor owner would win everything eventually.

The odds were in the casino''s favor.

Wilbur chuckled and said, "Alright. Let''s y something else and see if I''m still in luck."

Then, they walked away. Tiff exchanged the coins for chips again.

They came before the ckjack table.

Tiff stuck next to Wilbur. She was almost clinging to his body as she quietly exined the rules to him.

Wilbur watched and listened, quickly understanding the rules of the game.

A gambler lost his chips, so he stood and left whileining.

    Wilbur smiled and sat down.

Tiff stood behind him and lowered her body with her chest almost on his back. She whispered, "Mister Penn, don''t start off with a big bet. This spot is unlucky because that guy just lost money."

    "Alright. I got it."

Wilbur casually bet ten thousand dors'' worth of chips.

The beautiful dealer started to draw the cards, and she was outstanding even among beautiful women.

She was impable in terms of her appearance, figure, and style.

The gamblers around the table started to check their cards.

Everyone looked serious and excited. It felt as though their cards would decide their fates.

Wilbur felt confused as to why they looked like that. He wondered why he did not feel that way.

He wondered if it was because it was not thrilling enough.

He thought about it and smiled. Perhaps it was because money meant nothing to him, so he was not as excited.

However, he pretentiously checked his cards to blend in with the crowd.

Everyone revealed their cards after a moment.

The dealer drew 17, and Wilbur drew 18. Meanwhile, the other yers were below 17.

Every yer lost except for Wilbur.

The losers looked frustrated. Some of them even nced at Wilbur with envy.

    Wilbur merely chuckled.

Tiff was slightly surprised. She thought that Wilbur was too lucky.

The dealer said, "House draws seventeen. Four wins and one loss."

There were five yers. Wilbur was the only one who won money.

Wilbur retrieved the chips and chuckled.

    The next round started immediately.

Wilbur also felt like he was on a streak, so he bet all his chips on the table.

Tiff was shocked because that was nearly 200 thousand dors.

He would lose all of his winnings if he lost.

    Tiff sighed to herself.

She saw too many gamblers like that.

Those gamblers would go all in because they felt like they were in luck, and they

    wanted to get rich quickly.

However, they were unaware that it would only cause their downfall.

The dealer started to draw cards.

The dealer revealed the cards after a moment.

    "House draws eighteen."

Everyone instantly felt disappointed when they heard that.
