Wilbur stopped in his tracks, staring at both men coldly.
Cameron and the others were shocked. Were these two thinking of challenging Wilbur? Did they have a death wish?
Instead, the two men scrambled to get down on one knee at the sight of Wilbur before chorusing, "We''d like to be your disciples, sir. Please grant us this honor."
Cameron exchanged a nce with hispanions.
It was true that even Sanctuary level cultivators would fight over the chance to be
a disciple of a true expert.
Just then, Wilbur took out his thunder cleaver and swung it outward.
A crack of thunder rang through the air, and a terrifying wave of energy spread out.
Kaxx and Sheldon were shocked, scrambling to defend themselves.
Sheldon summoned an enormous shield, and Kaxx summoned his cuss.
However, the immense power from the thunder cleaver tore through both their defenses at once.
Kaxx was cut bisected at the waist.
Sheldon''s shield was crushed as he was sent flying over a dozen meters. A terrifying gash appeared on his chest, which was gushing out with blood. He drew hisst breath uponnding heavily on the ground.
Wilbur had just killed two Sanctuary level cultivators with one move. The sight made the three adventurers tremble.
"I don''t need you two," Wilbur sneered before carrying on forward.
Cameron and the others hurried behind him.
Wilbur was not interested in having those two as disciples in the slightest.
Both men''s true colors had been revealed in the Valley of Death, and it would only be a burden to keep them around.
The next afternoon.
Wilbur returned to the Saturn Vige Church with the three adventurers in tow.
He sent for Karl and the rest, who introduced themselves and had the adventurers enrolled in no time as disciples of the Church of the Fire Dragon Lord.
Wilbur even made them elders of the church.
Following that, Wilbur said, "I''m going to train in solitude for a few days. You can handle the church and manage its affairs."
The others called out in acknowledgment, and Wilbur returned to his room on the second floor.
He entered his demine at once.
The crystal skeletony silently on the ground. The me serpent hardly dared to go near it, hiding in a corner.
Wilbur looked at the me serpent. "You can go out and y, but don''t give me any trouble."
The me serpent nodded eagerly, and Wilbur opened his demine to send it out before picking up the crystal skeleton.
He had decided that he was going to absorb the power in the crystal skeleton this time.
Aside from being immensely powerful, the crystal skeleton also contained arge amount of spirit energy.
Spirit energy was particrly difficult to cultivate, and Wilbur would be sure to benefit a great deal from it.
More importantly, Wilbur wanted to experience the power of an unknown being like this one.
It might help his cultivation.
After making his mind up, Wilbur sat down cross-legged. He held the skeleton in his hands and began to absorb the energy in it.
A whileter, Wilbur''s body was enveloped in a crystal-clear blue glow.
Over at the Saturn Vige square.
Countless people hade forward over the past few weeks to join the Church of the Fire Dragon Lord. Despite the fact that many of them were here for financial help, no one seemed to mind.
Wilbur had said that what they needed right now was numbers.
