The crowd''s expressions turned solemn at once.
"Anyone who insults my people is a dead man. The rest of you can leave. None of you are getting anything here," Wilbur said before turning to Cameron and the
rest.
"Let''s go see if we have any luck."
Cameron, Catherine, and Dawson nodded along. There was nothing for them to worry about, not with a master like Wilbur on their side.
Upon saying so, Wilbur led the way further into the valley as Cameron and the rest scrambled to follow behind him.
Sheldon and the rest of the crowd looked at each other.
None of them dared to even think about going after the treasure. Wilbur sparing their lives was already the best thing that could happen to them.
"Let''s go."
Kaxx did not waste another second and turned to run out as fast as he could.
Sheldon did the same, fleeing the scene.
The other adventurers were at a loss for words.
The next second, they began to run one by one as well.
The beasts had retreated, but they would be sure to be lurking around again once Wilbur had left.
The adventurers had one shot at getting out of here alive if they made it in time.
If they missed their chance, they would be ripped apart by those beasts.
All at once, the rest of the adventurers stumbled away, disappearing into the fog.
The next second, however, the air was filled with cries of agony.
Just then, Wilbur led Cameron and the rest along the way.
Wilbur emitted a powerful spiritual pressure outward, and there were no more beasts that dared to challenge them.
However, the powerful pressure put Cameron and the rest through quite a bit of difort.
"Sir, could I ask what level you are at, really?" Dawson piped up in a careful voice. He was just curious.
Wilbur had clearly surpassed the Sanctuary level, perhaps even reaching the super Sanctuary level.
Yet none of them knew just what levels existed above Sanctuary.
Cameron and his sister were curious as well, looking at Wilbur cautiously.
Wilbur did not turn around, merely saying, "I''m still well within the Sanctuary level range."
The other three were perplexed by the answer.
Was this still considered Sanctuary level? How wide was the range that he spoke of?
Of course, there was actually an exnation for Wilbur''s power.
He had traits of the ancient dragon tribe that made his physical strength alone much more powerful than that of a Sanctuary level cultivator.
On top of that, the Dragon''s Chant that he was cultivating was considered the ultimate cultivation method of the ancient dragon tribe.
Wilbur also had the Dragon''s Altar, as well as multiple godly skills.
He was fated to be the most powerful Sanctuary level cultivator there was.
Just then, Wilbur quickened his footsteps.
He sensed a powerful wave of energy. He was not far from what he was looking for now.
Cameron and the others followed behind.
A little over ten minutester, they arrived in front of arge pit.
There was an outline of a creature in the pit that seemed to be where the giant ape had slept.
Next to the outline was a set of glowing bones that emitted a mysterious energy. "I found it!"
Wilbur was overwhelmed himself. That was the Crystal Bone, and aplete skeleton too.
Cameron and the rest looked on in shock.
It was clear that the skeleton did not belong to any regr mortal. The energy it was radiating was mysterious and powerful, and they hardly dared to move forward at all.
That was because the pressureing from this force was more than they could bear.
Wilbur stepped forward slowly up to the pit.
He had finally understood how the Valley of Death came to be.
It was the energy that this skeleton gave off that caused the creatures in the Valley of Death to evolve.
It was unclear how long this skeleton had been here, but it still held a great deal of power.
How terrifying of a being would the owner of this skeleton be when they were still alive?
