Cyrus endured his pain there. He used a woodendle to scoop up some water and cleaned his hands before continuing forward.


    He passed through the Bliss Shrine, the wishing temple, the shrine gates, and finally arrived at the entrance of the Main Shrine.


    A slender and handsome man was standing in front of the shrine with hands behind his back. His hair was waist-long, and he was carrying a samurai sword on his waist.


    "Brother." Cyrus stopped in his tracks.


    Yaron looked at Cyrus and did not speak for a long while.


    "I want to meet Father," said Cyrus coldly.


    Yaron smiled, revealing his pearly white teeth. He spoke nonchntly, "You lost the Ghost Sword and came back defeated. Why do you think you deserve to meet him?"


    "I''m his son," said Cyrus through a clenched jaw.


    Yaron said slowly, "We''re both his sons."


    "What do you want to do? Fight me? Kill me?"


    Yaron smiled and replied, "No. On the contrary. I don''t agree with your ways, but I agree with what you said. How can a woman be in charge of the family''s assets? Moreover, that woman allowed a low life to get involved in our family business."


    Cyrus had a glint of hope in his eyes, he needed Yaron to support him more than


    ever.


    "You seeded in assassinating Yumi. If we work together to kill that Dasha scum, we can be in charge of the family," said Cyrus excitedly.


    Yaron smiled and said, "You''re right, but we don''t have to do it ourselves."

    A figure slowly appeared as Cyrus spoke. He walked towards them.


    The ninjas immediately surrounded them with rming demeanors.


    The assassins who lurked in the dark were also staring at the figure. "How dare you trespass this sacred ce?" asked Cyrus angrily.


    Wilbur looked around whileughing. He said, "There''s no ce on earth that I couldn''t enter."


    "You''re as arrogant as I expected, but you''re allowed to be arrogant since you defeated Cyrus who wielded the Ghost Sword," said Yaron nonchntly.


    Yaron waved as he spoke. A surge of spiritual energy crushed the entrance of the shrine.


    There was a statue that was several meters high in the shrine.


    It was a statue of a goddess with godly clothing and a long spear in her hand. The statue was looking down like she was gazing upon the mortals.


    A wrinkly old man was sitting before the statue.


    The old man had an empty and lifeless gaze. He looked towards the outside in a daze as if he had lost his soul.


    Wilbur frowned and asked, "Are you seriously letting a crazy person fight me?" Yaron replied nonchntly, "My father was near his death, so he sacrificed his soul and gained divine power from Goddess Asenthia. That allowed him to stay alive, but it cost him his mental health. He has lost his mind, but his powers improved instead. Also, only a Gardner is permitted to enter this ce." Suddenly, the head of the Gardners, Cain Gardner, looked at Wilbur abruptly. "Who are you? How dare you trespass the shrine?"


    Then, Cain stood up. A surge of spiritual energy instantly exploded from his body.


    A terrifying spiritual pressure washed over the shrine. The windows and doors were broken, and the walls crumbled.


    Cain formed a long spear in his arm. It was ignited in spiritual mes and had a lot


    of runes. He leaped out of the shrine and red at Wilbur.


    The terrifying spiritual pressure made Yaron and Cyrus back away too.


    Cyrusughed maniacally and said, "Die, Dasha scum. You can''t handle the power of Asenthia."


    "To die by the divine powers of Asenthia is a great pleasure. You should feel honored," said Yaron with a smile.
