Wilbur looked Yumi straight in the eye. "Are you doubting my abilities?"
"Mister Penn, you''re definitely a powerful force. But the five great families each have their own team of ninjas, with powerful elites of their own holding the fort down that are even stronger than some Sanctuary level cultivators," Yumi said.
"Your power in Dasha is definitely strong enough to bepared to any one of the five great families, but can you bring all of your men over with you? Besides, what if the other four families gang up against you? You won''t be able to win then."
"That''s not something you have to worry about. Just tell me one thing. Would you like your family to reign supreme?" Wilbur asked calmly.
Yumi frowned.
Of course, anyone would want their n to be the most powerful out of them all.
But the five great families had a deeply-rooted history in Cherrytopia, and there was not much the nation even dared to do to them.
It would be impossible for Wilbur to challenge the five great families on his own.
In the end, Yumi still ended up saying, "Mister Penn, I don''t think that''s possible.".
Wilbur smiled. "I knew you would say that, but it''s fine. We can start with your family too."
Wilbur had made up his mind, and what Yumi was offering would be far from enough to make him embark on the trip.
His goal for this trip was to see just how powerful the five great families were.
Wilbur also had ns for Cape to start its business empire in Cherrytopia and have Yumi be his cover.
Yumi frowned. "That sounds like the best way to go. I''ll be grateful enough if you even manage to help me control my family."
"Alright. Let''s go as soon as possible, then." Wilbur wasted no time, getting up to leave right after.
Yumi furrowed her brows, falling deep into thought.
Who was this man, and how did he even get the idea of challenging the five great families?
Well, that was something she had no time to ponder on for too long.
What mattered most now was controlling the family''s internal affairs so that they would not be usurped by the other four great families.
Two dayster, Wilbur, Yumi, and her assistant Beany got on a ne headed for Cherrytopia.
The flight to Kyo City only took a little over four hours.
Wilbur shut his eyes the second he sat down, pretending to sleep.
Yumi, however, was greatly burdened with worry.
Her family had been split into three factions.
One was the financial group that Yumi herself was controlling. Another was the ninja team controlled by the head of the family, but thest one was a hidden faction controlled by Yumi''s brother.
Yumi still had financial power now, as well as a certain level of martial power.
But the head of the family had control over the true fighters of the family. The Gardner family had a team of over 400 ninjas, and most of them worked for the head of the family.
It was unclear if the head of the family had lost his mind, but he had handed this power over to his grandson Cyrus Gardner, letting him do whatever he wanted and meddle in the family''s financial group.
The hidden faction that Yaron Gardner, Yumi''s brother, controlled, was a team of highly-trained assassins.
No one knew if the person next to them was a part of this hidden faction.
Yaron always maintained a neutral position every time a fight broke out in the family.
This neutrality, however, was to be deeply feared as no one ever knew what Yaron was truly thinking.
It could be said that Yaron was the most terrifying member of the family.
That was because he was capable of causing a fatal blow to anyone else in the family.
With the family at loggerheads with each other, Yumi was unable to hold her own. That was why she hade to Dasha in search of a partner to join forces with.
Yumi had no one in Cherrytopia to help her.
The other four great families were watching the Gardners like hawks. Yumi''s life would be in great danger with just one wrong move.
The Gardners were at risk of copse, and Yumi could not help but worry.
She had, of course, ryed all of this to Wilbur.
