In a scene straight out of an anime, a red-haired girl confronted 15 guys on the rooftop of a tall building. Each of them wielded a sword, showcasing their trained movements in the art of swordsmanship.
The girl had a katana with a dragon pattern on the hilt, while the guys had regr katanas in ck sheaths.
After closer inspection, she wore a stylish uniform featuring a red top paired with a gray skirt and a vibrant red ribbon. The stockings she had on further entuated her long legs.
Her eyes held a unique orange hue, mirroring the mes emitted by her sword at that very moment.
And she was definitely a beauty, even by my high standards.
She swung her sword with force, and with each swing, mes sizzled through the air. The mes she summoned seemed even hotter than the ones used by the guy with fire powers I had fought back in Korea.
In fact, her sword resembled more a molten rod as she swung it. With each motion, the ground transformed into magma, and metals simply melted under its intense heat. It was the type of attack that could fatally strike down anyone with just a single blow.
But the 15 guys weren''t amateurs either.
Fully aware of the girl''s lethal attacks, they maintained a safe distance whileunching counterattacks. Strategically surrounding her, they aimed to cut off any potential escape routes.
As they trapped her, they not only brandished their swords but also harnessed elemental powers.
One unleashed bursts of chilled air, attempting to quench the mes with icy gusts. Another manipted the earth beneath, creating barriers of solid rock to absorb and redirect the heat.
Simultaneously, a third member summoned gusts of wind, skillfully timed to coincide with the swings of his de.
The aim was to not only counter the girl''s fire but also disrupt her bnce and control over the battle. The synchronized efforts created a harmonious yet intense disy of elemental prowess, each member contributing their abilities to form a unified defense.
''Am I in some anime? How are they doing that with elements?'' I mumbled to myself, getting a different vibe from what was happening. It felt like they weren''t using mind power but a whole other kind of energy.
Well, it wasn''t really unusual to stumble on a different power system. The world was vast, and I''m just starting to uncover its secrets.
Each attack packed a punch. However, in my opinion, their fighting style appeared unnecessarily shy.
I mean, seriously, there were so many useless moves on disy that it felt like a dance rather than fighting.
For instance, the girl would always spin and move as if she were being captured by a camera or something; she looked really beautiful from every angle. I even felt an urge to check if there were a film crew around because I thought I had stumbled onto a movie set.
But s, there was none, so she was just wasting her energy with her shy skills.
''Japanese really like toplicate things,'' I sighed to myself.
I had heard from a documentary how things could get very expensive in Japan because of how many processes their products undergo. It was like their forte to make simple things moreplicated in the name of tradition, and then put a super expensive price tag on it.
However, I didn''t realize they applied the same principle to fighting. Now, I understand why some anime battles seem to take an eternitypared to real life.
SLASH!
Finally, one of the men made a mistake, and the girl managed to sh him in half. Surprisingly, there was no blood burst because the wound was instantly closed by the fire.
This sudden opening shocked the others, and the girl capitalized by taking down two more of them. However, I could tell from her expression that she was growing exhausted.
Despite her growing tiredness, the girl kept going in the tough fight. The others, now more careful, approached cautiously. She continued to swing her sword, creating a captivating me shield.
But as the fight went on, it was clear that her moves were slowing down. The once easy spins and strikes now looked tired. But, she kept fighting with determination, each swing still carrying a fiery intensity.
One of her enemy tried a quick attack, but the girl, though tired, managed to deflect it with a skilled move. Her red hair, a bit messy now, added to the dramatic look of the fight.
With each passing moment, it became a test of endurance for both the girl and her opponents.
"Give up now, Lady Yuki. Come with us , " one of the men said with a firm tone.
"You''ll have to kill me to take me back," Yuki responded with a frustrated tone. Despite her disheveled appearance, she maintained her defense.
''Hmm, this looks interesting. Wonder what''s going on,'' I thought to myself. I had a feeling the girl''s backstory was pretty cool.
"Lady Yuki, your father will be mad if he finds out you''re trying to escape. Come with us. I''m sure there''s another way out of this," the leader of the group said. He had long hair tied behind his back.
"I don''t care! He''s not my father anymore, the moment he sold me out for marriage!" she replied through gritted teeth, the mes in her sword intensifying.
"Marriage? Is this some cliche arranged marriage between powerful ns?" I wondered, a wide grin spreading across my face. Yuki had caught my interest; her background seemed intriguing, and she was beautiful.
However, I didn''t have any intention to save her. I was just here to watch, and there wasn''t really a reason for me to y the hero.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

''A double mission!'' I eximed to myself after hearing the system''s mission.
It had been a while since my system assigned random missions. I knew it; the system relied on my desires, and it subconsciously recognized my interest in her.
''You''re the best wingman,'' I chuckled to myself as I transformed and used my mirage to change my clothing.
''Now for my grand entrance,''
