"Call the cops?!
The gentleman sized up Leona Foley before letting out a cold chuckle.
"You''re just a little b*tch who can do nothing but seduce the men around you!
"Call the cops then if you want!
"I''ll chop my head off just for you if the cops even do your bidding!
"Do you think I''d just show up without preparing myself?!
"Beautiful women like you really are stupid, huh?!
"Useless filth!"
The gentleman started cackling.
Leona showed a horrible expression when she turned on her phone while gritting her teeth.
She realized there was no signal around the ce.
Naturally, those people had already jammed the signal before showing up.
They had made every single preparation they could.
After seeing Leona''s despaired look, the gentleman spotted a smile as he waved his hand.
"We don''t have that much time!
"Send them their way!"
Almost a hundred men slowly unsheathed their swords simultaneously.
They took small steps as they inched closer, mustering their energy while showing fierce gazes as if they were fully
prepared to cut down Harvey York.
The gentleman grabbed a steel folding fan while squinting in front of him, asionally swinging it to generate
sparks all around.
The courtyard was abnormally quiet. Even the flowers Leona cared for were wilted at this time.
The atmosphere tensed up all over the ce. Not a single sound echoed. Even a pin drop could be heard at the
moment.
Murderous gazes could be felt. The intent alone could kill a man thousands of times over.
Harveypletely ignored those men when he smiled at Leona.
"Remember the Book of Change that I handed over to you?"
Leona nodded even though she did not know why Harvey would talk about that now.
"Of course. It exins why people remain prisoners in the world and goes into detail about the techniques the
geomancy expert used...
"In the Book of Changes, one of the methods the expert used was to protect himself..."
Harvey nodded before casually picking up his pen to write something with a smile.
"Even before I''m done writing, I''m sure you''d figure out the true meaning of the book if you manage to trap these
fools here."
Then, Harvey continued writing whilepletely ignoring the gentleman.
Leona''s eyes lit up when she took out herpass and swung her hand, revealing a piece of paper and cinnabar.
The gentleman chuckled after seeing the sight.
"As expected from the geomancy expert to keep pretending at a time like this, but it''s pointless...
"Nothing matters before true strength!

"Get him!"
The men charged forward with their longswords unsheathed.
p!
Leona pressed the cinnabar onto thepass when she squinted.
"Heaven, Earth, Thunder,e forth..."
The paper in her hand burned before ck smoke seeped out.
Swooosh!
A vine on the ground tightened, instantly wrapping all around the men''s feet.
A few who could not react in time fell to the ground before they werepletely entangled.
What a mysterious sight!
