    The door opened soon after, and dozens of men in suits rushed in.

    A woman in a leather jacket with short hair walked beside Vance. Then, she shot Harvey a death re.


    Vance became a lot more prideful after these people showed up.


    “You have a sharp tongue, kid. You’re pretty tough too, but I don’t like you.


    “But as you’re so bold, I’ll give you a chance.”


    “Kneel and break your arm right now. For Miss Cobb’s sake, I’ll let you live if you do as I say.”

    The short-haired woman smiled at Harvey.


    “I love handsome young men like him the most. If you let me handle this, I’ll teach him a painful lesson for going

    The short-haired woman was Vance’s top bodyguard; not only was she extremely powerful, she was utterly ruthless


    as well.


    She was already quite unhappy after seeing Harvey acting like such a show-off.

    He nced at the short-haired woman and said, “This man’s yours, Zora.”

    The other bodyguards instinctively stepped back, their expressions awful.

    He picked up a knife and ced it on Vance’s throat before thetter could even react.
