    Mandy’s face changed as she listened to Harvey s exnation. She was no longer the sweet and


    innocent girl from before, but the head of the ninth branch of the Jean family.


    After Harvey’s exnation, she understood that she had acted too rashly about Lilian’s kidnapping


    Had she allowed Harvey to n everything out beforeing, they would’ve had a better chance of


    rescuing Lilian.


    Thinking of this, she sighed.


    “I was being too rash, Harvey. I’m so sorry…”


    Harvey patted Mandy’s head and smiled warmly at her.


    “You’re my wife. There’s no need to say


    something like that.”


    “Besides, Lilian’s still my mother-inw, no matter how badly she treats me.”

    Mandy chuckled bitterly after hearing Harvey’s yful words. She knew her mother all too well.

    “Harvey, what do we do next?” she asked with a

    Harvey snapped his fingers, ncing at the rear view mirror.


    “Right when we got out of the ne, someone’s already been spying on us.”


    “I thought they’d only start moving when we reach our destination. I didn’t think they’d be this impatient.”


    Harvey turned the wheel furiously and drove


    into a narrow path.


    Two Mercedes Benz Gs trailed behind. When they realized Harvey’s intentions, they honked loudly and


    rushed to catch up. One car was ck and the other white, like Yin and Yang. They quickly closed in with


    the intent to kill.


    Mandy followed Harvey’s gaze and looked at the rear view mirror as well. Her expression grew ugly.


    “Who are these people?”


    “It doesn’t matter. Since they’re here, it means we have work to do,” Harvey said calmly.


    “Sit tight!”


    So saying, he swiftly turned the wheel and pressed hard on the brakes.


    Creeeeeak!


    The car turned a hundred and eighty degrees in ce, pulling off a high-level drift.

    Harvey stepped on the gas with all his might. The cars trailing behind him failed to react, and he took


    advantage of it by immediately slipping right through the middle.


    The two Mercedes Benz Gs stopped in an instant. One car rolled down its windows, and a handsome


    man with sunsses emerged. He looked absolutely thunderous.


    “You bastard! Screw you!”


    “I’ll kill you!”


    Then, they spun around and chased after Harvey’ s Toyota Alphard a second time.

    The car casually overtook everyone else, and roared right toward Las Vegas’ urban district.


    They began to speed up,pletely ignoring the unfortunate cabs they rammed along the way, charging


    furiously at Harvey with a care in the world.


    Seeing that the two cars were quickly catching up to him, Harvey calmly turned the wheel.


    The speeding Toyota Alphard suddenly swung right into the white Mercedes Benz G’s front left wheel,


    hitting it.
